Abstract: A chair adjustment structure includes a base member, a top cover pivotally connected to the base member, a spring member connected between the base member and the top cover, and a back bracket pivotally connected to the base member and the top cover. Therefore, when the user sits on the seat pad of the chair, the back bracket is forced to pivot the top cover to provide the user with sitting comfort.
Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanism for an office chair or arm-chair, in which control means for the backrest inclination and spring means for biasing the backrest to the position of minimum inclination are provided, in which at least one stepped stop block can be moved in a controlled manner, a step of said block being suitable to interfere with a member connected to the backrest when the same is being inclined, in order to limit the stroke of said member between the position of minimum inclination of the backrest and a position of interference of the member connected to the backrest with a selected one of the block steps. The invention also relates to a method for transforming a locking mechanism to an end-of-stroke mechanism.
Abstract: A chair includes an upper frame disposed above and pivoted to a lower frame. A stopping device includes a slide mounted slidably on the upper frame, and a stopping member. The slide is slidable between a first position, where the stopping member is offset from a rear plate of the lower frame in a longitudinal direction, and a second position, where the stopping member is aligned with the rear plate in a vertical direction. A cam mechanism includes a cam connected movably to side plates of the lower frame and a cam follower formed on the slide and engaging the cam in such a manner that movement of the cam from a releasing position to a restricting position results in movement of the slide from the first position to the second position.
Abstract: The chair comprises an axis X1 that extends right and left and that connects a seat 6 and a supporting body 3 arranged under the seat 6 in a rotatable manner at a front end portion of the seat frame 4, an axis X2 that connects the seat 6 and a backrest 7 in a rotatable manner at a rear side to the axis X1 and an axis X3 that connects the backrest 7 and the supporting body 3 in a rotatable manner, and the seat and the backrest are made to make a rocking movement between an upright posture and a rearward tilted posture with synchronizing the seat and the backrest by adopting an arrangement of a sliding engagement structure to a supporting portion of the axis, and the chair is also provided with a restraining member B1 to restrain a sliding range of the axis X1 variably by directly working the axis X1 to be restrained, an operating member B2 to operate the restraining member B1, a transmitting axis B3 to transmit an operating force of the transmitting member B2 to the restraining member B1 and a click stop mecha
Abstract: A four legged or sled chair having a reclinable seat comprising a frame structure, a seat mounted within the frame structure for pivoting about a transverse torsion bar(s) axis, and elastic stops defining said seat position of maximum rearward pivoting and the position of maximum forward pivoting in relation thereto.
