The upholstered piece of furniture includes covering material, wherein at least a portion of the at least one of the arms is covered by the covering material.

Abstract: Stringers 12 for a pallet 10 constructed from corrugate are disclosed. The stringers 12 are manufactured from corrugate sheets 30 that are die cut and laminated into corrugate stringer blocks 40, in various aspects. The corrugate stringer blocks 40 include a plurality of stringers 12 connected by a shear bridge 34 die cut into the corrugate sheets 30 when forming the stringers 12 from the corrugate sheet 30 to retain the stringer 12 on the corrugate stringer block 40 until a separating force is applied to the block to separate the individual stringers 12 from the corrugate stringer block 40, in various aspects.

Abstract: The current invention is a modular and interlocking furniture system that requires no tools and comprises basic elements that are simple to connect to form a desired piece of furniture. The furniture may be may be prefabricated in components that can be sold disassembled in a flat stackable packaging and then assembled at a site. Assembly of the furniture requires no hardware, tooling, or relatively complex instructions. The furniture is an improvement over the prior art as less components may be necessary to assemble a piece of furniture and or the final assembled product is more functionally stable and aesthetically pleasing. An embodiment for the invention includes a chair and desk that essentially consists of a base having at least about three legs that is formed from two interconnecting units and a top that relesably connects to the base and may provide the function of a seat or table surface.

Each chair arm has a concave shape and a concave groove extending along the entire length of a concave surface of the chair arm. Each rod is affixed to the fabric and is substantially parallel to one another. The sheet of fabric is affixed to the chair by threading each of the rods through a different one of the corresponding grooves.

Abstract: A corner unit for an article of sectional furniture. In an exemplary embodiment, the corner unit includes a frame having a plurality of frame members. The frame may include two internal frame members which are disposed substantially perpendicular to each other. The internal frame members provide rigidity and strength to the frame without requiring other angled cuts and connections for the frame. The frame may also include a cover assembly which provides a seat and at least one storage compartment. This new use of E.V.A. material provides structural integrity when various shapes are laminated together. Abstract: A method of manufacturing furniture or sculpture by cutting plies from a sheet material, laminating the plies into a beam element, and removing excess portions of the plies. Bars of similar diameters and lengths are cut. The beam elements are interconnected with other beam elements. The bars are inserted into some of the slots, grooves, cut-outs and tabulated apertures in beam elements. By orienting some of the beam elements or some of the bars to be in collinear alignment to a load acting upon the furniture, and by orienting some of the beam elements such that some of the individual plies are disposed with an edge facing forward, a structural object can be created.
