The blanket has a plurality of fold lines integrated into the blanket thereby facilitating the blanket to be folded for disposal when the user is finished sitting on the blanket. A pouch is provided and the pouch is comprised of a fluid impermeable material. The blanket is insertable into the pouch when the blanket is folded for disposal.

Groups of holes are provided in the top of the bag, and the total cross-sectional areas of the groups of holes are preferably selected to equalize air flow over the seating surface, rather than having all the air flow through the holes nearest the fan. An optional, porous heating layer may be located above the bag.
