The grinding blanks are flatly stacked over each other along the axis of rotation and in which each grinding blank includes a central through opening. The central through openings form together a recess of the circular grinding blank packet. Wherein the grinding disc has a backing plate, which is arranged in the recess, and the circular grinding blanks each are fixed individually to the backing plate.

A notch at the front end of the plate is for engaging a raised head at the front of the hammer tacker. A belt clip projecting from the rear end of the plate is angled away from the hammer tacker for clipping to a belt. A side extension is arranged on the plate to one side of the notch. A shallow groove is arranged on the bottom surface of the side extension, and a blade is positioned in the groove. A thumb screw attached to the blade is positioned through a slot in the side extension. The blade is movable along the groove for extension or retraction relative to the front end of the plate. When extended, the blade is angled to one side of the hammer tacker.

The barbs will swing between contracted and expanded positions. This spring biases the barbs to the expanded position. One end of the battering ram may have a loop for attaching to a line connected to a vehicle. Also, one end of the battering ram may have a battering plate or may have a bar for prying burglar bars outward.

    Abstract: A pneumatic control system for a meat trimming knife in which an annular cutting blade of the knife is rotated by a flexible cable driven by an electric motor mounted remote from the knife. A diaphragm mounted in the handle of the knife is compressed by the manual movement of a piston by an operator. The diaphragm is connected to a pressure switch which senses compression of the diaphragm and generates an electric control signal which actuates an electric clutch which couples the output shaft of the electric motor to the flexible cable for rotating the cutting blade. Upon release of the lever by the operator, the pressure switch senses the change in pressure which signals the clutch to disengage the motor shaft from the flexible cable to stop the rotation of the cutting blade. In a modified embodiment a diaphragm pump supplies a flow of low pressure, low volume air to the handpiece.

The diaphragm is connected by an air conduit which extends along the flexible drive cable to a pressure switch mounted adjacent the electric drive motor. The switch senses compression of the diaphragm and generates an electric control signal which actuates an electric clutch which couples the output shaft of the electric motor to the flexible cable for rotating the cutting blade. The piston is maintained in a diaphragm compressed position by a hand-operated lever mounted on the handle.
