The first coupling member is configured to flex when subjected to a force, thereby disengaging from the first clamping portion. A control member is disposed on the first clamping portion and is configured to flex when subjected to force. Flexing of the control member pushes the first coupling member to thereby disengage the first coupling member from the first clamping portion. A blade is removably mounted between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion.

Abstract: A tapered arrow launcher is disclosed as it may be implemented with an arrow launch platform (or arrow rest) for an archery bow. An example tapered arrow rest launcher may include an arrow support end, and a mounting end. The arrow support end of the arrow rest launcher is thinner than the mounting end, resulting in a thickness that is tapered along one or more sections. With this arrangement, fatigue forces and work hardening forces do not concentrate at the mounting end of the tapered arrow launcher when arrows are launched with the arrow launch platform.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a novel scraper assembly having a plurality of interchangeable scraper heads and handles and corresponding method for use. The scraper assembly further comprises a plurality of abrasive mechanisms, namely spring bristles, coiled springs, chainmail abraders and wire cloth abraders capable of effectively cleaning a surface without scoring or otherwise damaging the surface. The invention may be particularly useful for cleaning grills and ovens. Additionally, the invention may also be useful for shaping, adding texture to, stripping materials from or otherwise preparing a surface, including wood, metal or ceramic surfaces.

The wing is shaped in such a fashion as to have minimal effect on normal cutting behavior, and provides several benefits to the user, such as providing means for more easily and accurately guiding piles of cut food around and off a cutting surface, providing means to quickly and more safely remove food remnants stuck to the blade of the knife, and providing means to hold the knife in an upright position.

Abstract: An airfoil for a gas turbine engine includes a substrate and a sheath providing an edge. A cured adhesive secures the sheath to the substrate. The cured adhesive has a fillet that extends beyond the edge that includes a mechanically worked finished surface. A method of manufacturing the airfoil includes the steps of securing a sheath to a substrate with adhesive, curing the adhesive, and mechanically removing a portion of the adhesive extending beyond the sheath.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for removing ice and snow deposits from a vehicle during winter snow season. A hand-operated device for removing ice and snow deposits from a vehicle generally includes a handle, a blade, and one or more fasteners. A slotted aperture on an end of the handle is adapted to receive a coupling portion of the blade. Fasteners are positioned through the handle and blade at the slotted aperture to secure the handle and blade. The device enables a user to separate ice and snow deposits from a vehicle without damaging the vehicle.

Abstract: A shingle removal shovel is disclosed that comprises of a rectangular blade with slots and teeth on its front and back edges. This shingle popper has a special blade structure having elongated protrusions on its bottom side. Said protrusions provide a front and a back pivoting points so that the popper can be properly levered for easy removal of shingles and nails. The present shingle popper also has a slanted top surface to push shingles up while the shovel is moved under the shingle. It also has foot pedestals to allow an operator to use his/her foot to push the blade underneath a shingle.

The scraping tool in general comprises a stick for hand grasp and a scraping section in the front. The invention mainly uses an arm of suitable length extended from the back end of a jaw clamp toward the middle. It uses fasteners to be located inside the groove in the back of the scraping section. The fastener is also used as pivot for the arm to swing back and forth. Abstract: An improved semi-automatic Label Stripping Machine for detaching labels from a round container is disclosed. The container is placed between a rotatable idler and a rotatable platform. The container is rotated on its central vertical axis by rotating the platform. A plurality of peeler assemblies are brought in contact with the label and are moved down the outside surface of the container there by spirally striping off the label. The apparatus further comprises a guide that provides provide improved safety and a self-cleaning feature.
