Abstract: A support structure for securing a handle member to the blade portion of a snow shovel or snow pusher. The support structure includes an enclosed and contoured box portion having separated walls integrally formed to one another supporting the connection between the handle member and the blade portions of the shovel assembly. The box support structure provides lightweight multidirectional support while preventing build-up of snow and ice from the combined assembly. The support structure allows the blade member to be formed flat and smooth for low resistance operation for snow and ice removal.

Abstract: A multi-functional tool includes a multi-flanged body and an auxiliary implement attached thereto for assisting a user to install drywall. In use, the tool is attached over the end of a drywall tool and is secured in place. A first end of the tool provides a surface to aid in driving nails, removing obstructions and the like. The opposite second end provides a hex holder to hold a screwdriver bit to aid in recessing any drywall screws that need recessed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cutting device, and more particularly to a cutting device having a selectively replaceable and reorientable blade. The cutting device has a housing and a carriage that is movably disposed in the housing, the carriage being movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The cutting device also has a cutting member that is removably disposable and reorientable in the carriage and a cover member that is removably attachable to the housing.

Abstract: Roofing panels with water shedding features may be installed on the roof of a house or other structure in lieu of or as an underlayment for traditional roofing materials. The water shedding features can be built into a base of the roofing panels, as part of a frame for the roofing panels, or formed as part of a waterproofing layer applied to the base of the roofing panels, or which can be configured as a roofing panel. The roofing panels also can be installed in overlapping courses along a roof with water shedding features applied thereto or incorporated along one or more peripheral edges. The water shedding features of adjacent roofing panels will collect and divert water away from the upper surfaces and/or away from headlap and/or sidelap joints defined between the roofing panels.

Abstract: A grilling tool is described herein that has a replaceable tip, and can be used with a variety of other attachments. The grilling tool can be made of a heat-conformable material such that during use grooves are formed in the replaceable tip that correspond to a grilling surface on which it is used. Once the grooves are too deep or the tip is fully used, the tip can be replaced.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for attaching legs to furniture using a mounting plate having a pair of studs on one side and a furniture leg on the other side. Three embodiments are shown wherein the mounting plate is a single piece in one embodiment, a double piece in a second embodiment, and a double piece without a leg in a third embodiment. The mounting plate mounts to the underside of the piece of furniture using screws extended through a plurality of mounting holes so that the studs are inserted into and fixed to the piece of furniture. The mounting plate has an S-shaped aperture in it for receiving a mating S-shaped portion which is attached to the leg using an insert portion so that the S-shape portion then passes through the plate to the upper side of the plate and is turned approximately 45 to 90 degrees so that the inner edges of the ends of the S-shaped portion frictionally engages the studs wherein the leg becomes attached to the piece of furniture.

The first clamping portion and the second clamping portion integrally extends from an end of the handle portion. The second clamping portion is pivotable relative to the first clamping portion. The second clamping portion includes a first coupling member disengageably engaged with the first clamping portion. The first coupling member is configured to flex when subjected to a force, thereby disengaging from the first clamping portion. A control member is disposed on the first clamping portion and is configured to flex when subjected to force. Flexing of the control member pushes the first coupling member to thereby disengage the first coupling member from the first clamping portion. A blade is removably mounted between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion.

Abstract: A tapered arrow launcher is disclosed as it may be implemented with an arrow launch platform (or arrow rest) for an archery bow. An example tapered arrow rest launcher may include an arrow support end, and a mounting end. The arrow support end of the arrow rest launcher is thinner than the mounting end, resulting in a thickness that is tapered along one or more sections. With this arrangement, fatigue forces and work hardening forces do not concentrate at the mounting end of the tapered arrow launcher when arrows are launched with the arrow launch platform.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a novel scraper assembly having a plurality of interchangeable scraper heads and handles and corresponding method for use. The scraper assembly further comprises a plurality of abrasive mechanisms, namely spring bristles, coiled springs, chainmail abraders and wire cloth abraders capable of effectively cleaning a surface without scoring or otherwise damaging the surface. The invention may be particularly useful for cleaning grills and ovens. Additionally, the invention may also be useful for shaping, adding texture to, stripping materials from or otherwise preparing a surface, including wood, metal or ceramic surfaces.

Abstract: A removably attachable, multifunctional accessory for a utensil such as a kitchen knife is provided comprising a base with at least one cavity, one or more magnets inserted and secured within cavity, and a wing protruding from the base. The wing is shaped in such a fashion as to have minimal effect on normal cutting behavior, and provides several benefits to the user, such as providing means for more easily and accurately guiding piles of cut food around and off a cutting surface, providing means to quickly and more safely remove food remnants stuck to the blade of the knife, and providing means to hold the knife in an upright position.

Abstract: An airfoil for a gas turbine engine includes a substrate and a sheath providing an edge. A cured adhesive secures the sheath to the substrate. The cured adhesive has a fillet that extends beyond the edge that includes a mechanically worked finished surface. A method of manufacturing the airfoil includes the steps of securing a sheath to a substrate with adhesive, curing the adhesive, and mechanically removing a portion of the adhesive extending beyond the sheath.
