Multiplex Patents (Class 30/197)
  • Patent number: 10252430
Abstract: A hair trimmer includes a cutting head and a body configured for easy reach of the hard to reach places, such as behind ears. This is achieved by shaping a front portion of the body to have cutouts behind the cutting head, which allow the trimmer to navigate around parts such as an ear. The cutouts also improve air flow around the front of the trimmer's body, thereby improving performance and durability of internal trimmer components through better cooling. The walls of the cutouts may have air ducts to further improve the cooling of the internal components. The cutouts also reduce the vibration of the cutting head and the body, leading to better trimming experience for the user and to improved durability of the trimmer. The method of using a trimmer with a cutting head and a body configured for easy reach of hard to reach places, such as behind ears, is also described.

  • Patent number: 10213929
Abstract: The disclosure provides a pair of vibrissa and eyebrow scissors having a fixed blade and a moveable blade capable of being rinsed separately. The pair of vibrissa and eyebrow scissors comprises a scissors head and a scissors body, wherein a driving device is arranged in the scissors body. The scissors head further comprises a blade separation device; the blade separation device is connected with the fixed blade or the moveable blade; and by operating the blade separation device, the fixed blade and the moveable blade that are in a laminating state are separated from each other. On the basis of the traditional vibrissa and eyebrow scissors, the disclosure is provided with a blade separation device which may separate the moveable blade from the fixed blade, so that the rinsing effect can be enhanced.

  • Patent number: 7707727
Abstract: The invention comprises of a trimmer body with pivotally mounted handle mechanism attached to a flexible curvature adjuster band going through a plurality of cutting units articulately arranged side by side with a flexible scissor type mechanism attached to every cutting unit and trimmer body to maintain equidistant spacing between cutting units and to prevent the formation of an uneven curvature. The curvature of the cutting section is adjusted with the release of the restraining mechanism with the thumb of one hand and the pivotal movement of the front handle mechanism with the other hand. The one hand operated foliage trimmer's cutting blades are arcually reciprocated by electromagnets. The elongated foliage trimmer's head body and cutting section's hemispherical spatial orientation is adjustable and restrainable with the rear handle mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4179964
Abstract: A ribbon cable splitting device is described in which an opposing pair of splitting elements having a number of equally spaced specially shaped teeth are brought together in an interlaced fashion to separate the individual conductors of a similarly spaced ribbon cable. The shape, spacing and quantity of teeth on each of the splitting elements and the basic device may be varied to accommodate various sizes of ribbon cable for splitting or subsequent connection to cable connectors, circuit boards or terminals. This invention is directed to a device for separating insulated ends of parallel multiwire electrical cables of the so-called ribbon type. More particularly the invention is that of an apparatus capable of separating each individual insulation covered electrical wire from those adjacent by means of separating and spacing elements having cutting elements shaped to engage the wires, cut the material joining them together and space the cut sections.
