The second jaw member has a second outer surface configured to project away from the second jaw member and defines a second boundary. A cutting blade is positioned between the first and second jaw members and is positioned spaced apart from the first boundary and the second boundary with the first and second arm assemblies positioned in one of an open position or closed position.

A mechanical linkage forces the cutting edge of the blade towards the anvil when the second handle is biased towards the first handle such that a drywall bead positioned over the anvil is cut at a desired angle.

A primary cutting blade (30) extends from the first sidewall (15) at an angle across the channel (18) toward the second sidewall (17). The primary blade (30) is configured to cut through an edge of a panel placed in the channel (18) as the cutting tool (10,110,210) is caused to move along the edge of the panel, thereby creating a chamfered edge on the panel. A second cutting blade (32) also extends from the first sidewall (15) and is positioned adjacent the primary blade (30) to create a perforation in the edge of the panel prior to the panel encountering the primary blade (30).

    Abstract: A nail clipper of this invention has a somewhat V-shaped handle portion formed of a first upper handle and a second lower handle each of which is pivotally mounted with respect to the other, and movable toward the other. A cutter assembly having a forwardly disposed arcuate blade edge, is slidably mounted and interconnected to the upper handle's movement whereby it is actuated forwardly over the nail holder to carry out a cutting motion against a nail disposed in the nail holder's slot, upon the application of force to the two handles and moved rearwardly by a release of the grip of the upper portion. The apparatus also includes an elevation setter which may be used for controlling the size of cut of a nail inserted into the nail holder slot. A sizing tool may be employed with the elevation setter to preset the length of the nail to be worn.

    Abstract: A clipper for artificial finger nails includes a substantially planar nail holder having an arcuate opening therethrough for receiving an acrylic finger nail. Such a nail is cut by a blade in sliding face-to-face relation with the nail holder which slides over the opening thereby cutting the nail. A slot in the blade has a post extending therethrough. A screw mounted on one end of the post is received in a threaded insert formed in a nose piece. On the other end of the post, a knurled knob facilitates disassembly for changing a blade. A pair of transverse slots formed in the blade receive a pair of teeth formed on a pivotable clipper handle for converting rotational handle movement into transverse blade movement in rack-and-pinion fashion. Cut tips of the acrylic nails are caught and retained in a nail catcher mounted on the nail holder.
