Abstract: A double-sided razor is configured with connection mechanisms on opposite sides to engage with attachable and replaceable razor blades. In typical implementations, the razor may have a short side and a long side that respectively engage with relatively shorter and longer-sized razor blades. Users can use different-sized razor blades for different shaving scenarios. For example, the longer-sized razor blade may be used to shave the face, legs, chest, etc., whereas the short-side razor blade may be used to shave the user's upper lip, pubic and genital region, etc. The short-side razor blade may help the user shave more precisely and cautiously to prevent an unnecessary cut. A bottom side of the double-sided razor can have a lever that rotatably pivots from one side of the razor to the other so a guard can block the unused blades from cutting a user.
Abstract: A folding knife having a blade pivoted from a closed position to an open locked position with a combined self-activating sliding release and locking arm. The sliding locking arm is mounted within the knife handle on dual fixed guide and pivot pins within respective arm openings being spring urged there against. Arm projections are engaged by the blade shank during operation moving the locking arm back and up then releasing to slide forward locking the blade in open use position until manual arm engagement by the user against the spring for release and transitional closure.
Abstract: The ice axe for mountaineering includes a head, a shaft, and an anatomical grip having one free end and an end secured to the shaft. The grip defines a handling zone of the ice axe and includes an adjusting member for adjusting the length of the handling zone. The adjustment member includes an adjustment end-piece arranged at the free end of the grip. The handling zone is bounded by the adjustment end-piece and by a protuberance of the grip at its end secured to the shaft. The adjustment end-piece is mounted on and pivoted around a rotation pin. The free end of the grip includes a plurality of notches operating in conjunction with a plurality of grooves of the adjustment end-piece and corresponding to different positions of the adjustment end-piece.
Abstract: A single body multi-tool device having a plurality of compartments in a housing thereof. Mounted in these compartments are various hand tools such as a hatchet, a digging tool, a flashlight, a knife and a saw, each being separately usable without interfering with the operation and/or use of another of the tools. This multi-tool device is generally concerned with the field of hand tools, and is specifically concerned with hand tools used in the outdoors, such as while camping.
Abstract: Foldable axes cut wood while being safely and easily transportable. The foldable ax provides the benefits of a long handled ax by consisting of four handle elements attached to a blade which unfold and lock in the in use position. The handle elements enclose the blade in the storage and transport position, thereby preventing the cutting edge of the blade from coming into contact with objects it could damage and rendering the foldable ax much more compact. A series of latching mechanisms removably secure each handle element in place in the in use position. The handle elements are hingedly attached to one another.
