Plural Handle Or Grip Patents (Class 30/312)
  • Patent number: 5456010
Abstract: A food chopper and slicer knife mechanism for kitchen use comprising an elongated central blade of an extended length having a handle formed at each opposite end and a pair of internally spaced holes extending through the blade on opposite sides of the center of the central blade; a plurality of smaller supplemental blades positionable on opposite sides of the central blade and oriented parallel therewith, the supplemental blades each having a pair of laterally spaced holes extending therethrough on opposite sides of their centers, the central blade and supplemental blades having aligned cutting edges which are aligned parallel with one another when the holes are aligned about common axes; coupling components including a pair of threaded rods, each positionable through each of the aligned holes of the central and supplemental blades with locking knobs positionable at the ends of the rods; and cylindrical spacer disks positionable on the rods between adjacent blades.

  • Patent number: 4967476
Abstract: A tool structure including an elongate, generally "V" shaped body defining an acute angle between the body portions, wherein a generally reversible trapezoidal blade is mounted within the body to project exteriorly thereof. A flexible cable is mounted and extends from a side surface of the body, with a handle orthogonally mounted medially of its length to the cable to provide a flexible manipulatable pulling handle in association with the blade structure. A removable cover is optionally mounted overlying a forward portion of the handle encompassing the blade, wherein the cover is deflectable to avoid destruction of the blade in its association with the work piece.

  • Patent number: 4648300
Abstract: A square frame surrounds and extends upwardly from a planar cutting surface to define a dough compartment. A plurality of vertical slots in each side wall extend from the top edge thereof down to the cutting surface to provide a guide for a cutting blade inserted therein. The slots are arranged in such a pattern that three, four, or six equal width slices may be formed in each direction depending on the slots selected for use. The cutter blade is accurately shaped along the bottom from end to end to ensure good contact with the cutting surface. An enlarged end portion at each end of the cutting blade prevents inadvertent dislodgement of the cutting blade during usage. A flour trough is provided on one side wall to facilitate the maintenance of a floured cutting blade during usage.

  • Patent number: 4536956
Abstract: A cutter reciprocatingly drivable in opposite directions and adapted to co-operate with the shear foil of a dry-shaving apparatus comprises support means and a plurality of pairs of arcuate cutter lamellae mounted on such support means. The distance between the two cutter lamellae of each pair is smaller than the distance between either cutter lamella of such pair and the adjacent cutter lamella of the adjacent pair at the location of the top of the cutter lamellae. The two cutter lamellae of each pair respectively include angular portions oriented towards each other at the location of the top of the cutter lamellae, the angular portions of the two cutter lamellae of each pair being urged against each other under pre-load.

  • Patent number: 4322886
Abstract: A tool for trimming the downward hanging foliage of willow trees including a blade secured to a U-shaped handle having an unobstructed central area designed to pass over the torso of the user as it is swung overhead. The distance between the arms of the frame increase with distance from the blade. The dimensions, weight, and balance of the tool are such as to minimize the effort required in trimming.

  • Patent number: 4182390
Abstract: A shingle removal tool includes a main supporting shaft having an outer handle and a shingle removing blade at the opposite end. Centrally of the supporting shaft, an angled arm is secured to and extends outwardly and upwardly for gripping by the opposite hand of the roofer. The blade has a first portion aligned with the shaft, formed with a plurality of different sized notches, and a lateral extension portion formed as a continuous chamfered blade. A side blade wall extends past the bottom end of the shaft and lifts the shingle.
