Abstract: An exemplary ultrasound biopsy device includes a probe and a holster. The probe is insertable into the holster to form a completed assembly. To assemble the probe to the holster, the probe is initially slid laterally onto the holster and then slid forward to latch the probe into engagement with the holster. The holster is coupled to a vacuum control module by one or more conduits and a power cable. The conduits and/or power cable may be retracted into the vacuum control module. The probe of the biopsy device includes a blade assembly at the distal end. The blade assembly comprises a blade that snaps onto a nosecone via a pair of resilient notched ends. A frictional fitting needle cover can be inserted over the needle and blade assembly to protect the user from the sharp blade.

Abstract: A bone cutter for use within the intramedullary canal is described. The bone cutter comprises a frusto-conical cutting head that extends to a barrel portion for attachment to a drive shaft. The cutting head comprises a plurality of spaced apart blades having a tissue cutting edge that extends radially from the exterior surface of the cutting head. The plurality of blades are arranged at prescribed angular relationships that are designed to increase cutting efficiency and debris removal, thereby reducing reactive torque, axial loading, and head pressure during a surgical procedure.

Abstract: Disclosed is an encoding tool used to encode a programmable combination locking cap. The encoding tools disclosed have an angled blade and alignment mechanisms so that a combination cap is easily encoded and placed on a container that optionally has an angled blocker so that the angled blocked efficiently blocks the combination of the programmable combination locking cap.
Abstract: A stone removing tool for removing a stone from a fruit having an outer flesh portion surrounding the stone, the tool having a head section configured for being gripped by a user and a stem section extending from the head section and having an end opposite the head section configured for penetrating the flesh of the fruit and positively engaging the stone for removal from the fruit in an axial pulling action.
Abstract: An intramedullary reamer comprising a tapered cylindrical body member, a groove extending along the opposite sides and across the small end of the body member, a plurality of longitudinally disposed valleys disposed in advance of the groove to facilitate removal of cutting chips and a replaceable blade adapted to fit into the groove in the body member, the cutting edge of the blade being exposed above said groove, the open end of the blade being provided with locking means to secure the blade to the body member.
Abstract: An accessory for a hunting arrow is disclosed designed to be mounted around the shaft of the arrow at the base of the arrow head. The accessory consists of a coil of ribbon-like resilient material which is tightly wound and held in coiled position by a latch. The latch releases the coil as the result of a finger on the latch catching on the target as the arrow penetrates.
Abstract: A cabbage coring tool has an elongated semi-triangular shaped blade which is cross sectionally arcuate with both of the longer edges being sharpened. An axially extending shank is joined to the blade midway of its widest section and a cross bar is affixed to the end of the shank to serve as a handle in rotating the tool and simultaneously moving it into a head of cabbage to remove the core therefrom.
