Abstract: A shaver is provided, the shaver includes a handle with an elongated handgrip portion and a mounting portion, a shaver head, the shaver head being attached to the mounting portion, the shaver head having a bottom wall. A removable cartridge is attached to the shaver head through an attaching element provided on the shaver head. An ejection spring provides an ejection force which urges the cartridge away from the shaver head when the cartridge is removed from the shaver head.

Abstract: A razor blade protection system includes a body having a top portion and a bottom portion between which the head of a razor blade may be secured, the top portion and bottom portion are biased such that the bias force must be overcome to insert the razor blade between the top portion and bottom portion. A protective material is located within the body such that, when a razor blade is secured between the top portion and bottom portion, the compressive biasing force maintains the protective material in continuous contact with the cutting edge of the razor blade. The protective material may be saturated with a corrosion inhibiting liquid.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cost-saving and space-saving combination of a low-waste peeler and an auxiliary tool. The low-waste peeler comprises an elongate grip and a fork-like mounting pivotally and movably connected to the grip. The mounting is provided with two prongs, and a swinging blade is attached between the prongs. The mounting is pivotally and movably connected to the auxiliary tool as one piece, while the grip is a separate part. The mounting and the auxiliary tool are pivotally and movably attached to the grip. In the peeling position, the auxiliary tool is accommodated in the grip of the peeler.

Abstract: A hair clipper protective and identifying cap that is used to cover the cutting portion of a standard hair clipper. The protective cap is shaped to accommodate the cutting portion of the hair clipper. The bottom edge of the cap has a lip that allows the cap to be securely attached to the clippers. When the cap is properly placed over the cutting portion, the lip extends around the housing top end, at a point just below the cutting portion. Labels are applied to the protective cap or imprinted thereon to indicate whether the clipper is clean or requires sanitizing, namely “Clean” and “Soiled”.

Abstract: A removable protective cover for use with razors and razor cartridges. The cover encloses and protects the razor head, which contains the exposed portion of the sharpened blade or blades. Lateral tabs having hooks for engagement with the razor cartridge on one end and a button area on the other end are affixed to both ends of the cover via hinges. When the button area is depressed by opposing forces, in an X-plane, the hook end disengages from the razor cartridge and the cartridge may be removed from the protective cover with minimal or no force in the Y-direction which is perpendicular to the X-plane.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of maintaining a cover on the razor head of a wet shave razor. Such a cover is used to prevent damage to the cutting edge of the razor and to prevent accidental contact with the cutting edge when the razor is not in use. The present invention is also directed to a razor unit having a cover which is semi-permanently affixed to the razor head via a protective seal. The cover is affixed to the razor head during manufacture in a position such that it covers the cutting edges of the blades. Preferably, the cover is affixed through the use of an adhesive strip or strips which are attached to the cover and the razor head. The user must manually remove or break the adhesive strip in order to remove the cover to expose the cutting edge and begin shaving.
