Abstract: The present invention describes a novel spring mechanism for a razor. In the razor, the spring member may be disposed in a movable member assembly, portions of which may be used for ejection or pivoting. The spring may be fully encompassed within the assembly and be placed within supporting structures therein. The spring is a loop-shaped element having overlapping end portions with free distal ends. Alternately, the spring member is tear drop shaped loop shape with distal ends that are spaced apart. The spring may be disposed within a first and/or second movable member such as an eject button or a pivot member. A retarding structure on the spring provides a retarding force which is based on the interaction of the retarding structure with a protrusion on an assembly portion to keep the spring orientation intact. The spring is desirably comprised of stainless steel and is a flat wire.

Abstract: A razor accessory that receives a handle of a razor includes a body with a rounded exterior surface and a rectangular channel interior with flat walls to define a rectangular channel from a first end of the body and terminating at a second end of the body and a slit through the body in an axial direction relative to a central axis of the body from the first end of the body toward the second end of the body. The handle of the razor is received by the body with a sliding motion of an end of the handle into the rectangular opening at the first end of the body.

Abstract: A razor handle that includes an elongated hollow housing having an opening provided on a front end, a razor head carrier which is slidably mounted in a recess between a first non-shaving position in which the razor head carrier is retracted and located inside the recess, a second shaving position, and a sliding mechanism for moving the razor head carrier. The razor handle further includes a lock-and-release mechanism to hold a razor head, provided with a release member mounted on the razor head carrier. When the razor head carrier is in the first non-shaving position, the release member is hidden inside the housing to prevent the release of the razor head locked on the razor head carrier.
