Abstract: A trimmer razor including a handle, a head operatively connected to the handle, the head including a base member, a seat extending from the base member, and a cover connected to the seat, and an extension arrangement connecting the cover to the handle so that, upon rotation of the handle, the cover is movable between an open position and a closed position.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a razor base (2) comprising a head portion (4), wherein the head portion (4) comprises a forward surface (42) and a rear surface (44) opposite to the forward surface (42); and at least one rear extension (6, 60) extending away from the rear surface (44); wherein the rear surface (44) and the at least one rear extension (6, 60) together define finger end receiving sections (8) each configured to receive a finger end section (102) of a user. The present invention also relates to a corresponding razor and to a corresponding use.
Abstract: A hand-held shaving device includes a blade carrier top and a blade carrier base that cooperate to secure a double-edge razor blade in place. The blade carrier top and the blade carrier base mount onto a shaver base that is designed to be held in a hand of a user. When assembled, the device provides rests that contact a body surface to be shaved and when in contact with the body surface set the razor blade at an optimal shaving angle. A process of shaving comprises contacting the body surface to be shaved and moving the device in a direction of the razor blade edge. The device is designed so that it can be used in either hand.
Abstract: A fingertip shaver has a generally cylindrical shape and requires no extension or moving parts. The blade or multiple blades of the shaver are provided in a cartridge mounted within in an opening or recess formed in a flattened or truncated portion of the cylinder.
Abstract: A safety razor apparatus having a blade assembly comprising two guiding members, each having a surface for abutting against the skin, and one or more blades located between the two guiding members (9,10), wherein the cutting edge of each blade and the surfaces are positioned substantially in one plane. The apparatus has a grip portion being pivotal relative to said blade assembly about a pivot axis, wherein the pivot axis is positioned parallel to the cutting edge. A location of the pivot axis is adjustable with respect to the blade assembly.
