    Abstract: An automotive brake system comprises a sump fluidly disposed in a housing, constructing a brake unit, and in the middle of a suction circuit of a pressure apply device including at least a pressure apply pump. During vehicle dynamics control or during vehicle stability control, the pressure apply rapidly sucks the brake fluid stored in the sump and quickly performs a pressure apply action, irrespective of the distance between the brake unit and a brake-fluid source. This ensures a smooth brake-fluid supply to the suction circuit of a return pump returning the brake fluid from the wheel-brake cylinder to the brake circuit upstream of a fluid-pressure control valve unit.

Pressure fluid bores are provided between the two diametrically extending valve rows which connect the valve elements and location bores containing the pressure generating element and the driving element.

The electrical connector includes a generally cylindrical housing having first and second ends and a length corresponding to the perpendicular distance between the circuit and the pump. In one embodiment, the first end includes a plurality of flexible terminals mounted therein and electrically connected to the second end. The terminals are adapted to extend through and resiliently radially engage a corresponding plurality of contact passages mounted on the circuit for transmitting power to the second end. In a second embodiment, the second end of the connector also includes a plurality of flexible terminals resiliently mounted therein and adapted to engage a corresponding plurality of contact passages mounted on the pump for receiving power transmitted from the first end.

A fluid passage connects the high pressure source to both the wheel cylinder and the reservoir tank.     Abstract: The invention relates to a unit for a pneumatic brake system for a utility vehicle, which has a valve block into which magnet valves are inserted. To secure the magnet valves on the valve block, the unit includes a retaining plate which is secured to the valve block and which has spring elements integral with it the retaining plate presses the magnet valves into valve receptacles of the valve block. The unit has the advantage that the retaining plate balances out tolerances in the manufacture of the valve block and the production of the magnet valves. In a further feature, the unit mounts pressure sensors on the valve block in a same manner as the magnet valves.
