Portion Of Resilient Belt Overlaps Core Bar (e.g., Roller Engagement Surface) Patents (Class 305/176)
  • Patent number: 8590986
Abstract: An endless track for traction of a work vehicle. The endless track comprises a body of elastomeric material and a plurality of cores at least partially embedded in the elastomeric material. Each core comprises a pair of wings extending transversally to a longitudinal axis of the endless track, and a wheel guide comprising at least one guide projection projecting on an inner side of the endless track. Each guide projection comprises a top end and a wheel-facing side for facing wheels of the work vehicle, such as roller wheels that roll on the inner side of the endless track. The wheel-facing side comprises a recess to impede passage of grit between the wheel-facing side and a portion of the elastomeric material in the recess. This can enhance a wear resistance of the endless track.

  • Patent number: 8186774
Abstract: A rubber track (1) has formed in it simple means that can carry a part of abnormal tensile force acting on substantially the entire length in the circumferential direction of the rubber track (1). The construction secures smooth operation of the rubber track and reliably prevents cutting of a steel cord (s1) due to such abnormal tensile force. A core (3) has an engagement section (3b) located in the center region in the longitudinal direction of the core, guide projections (3a) on the outer sides of the guide projections (3a). The core (3) further has tensile force carrying sections (4a, 4b) arranged at positions that are located in the thickness direction of the core and are closer to the outer periphery of the rubber track than the outer peripheral-side d-surfaces of the wing sections (3c). The tensile force carrying sections (4a, 4b) carry tensile force acting in the lateral direction of the core and also carry pressing force acting in the thickness direction of the core.

  • Patent number: 7823989
Abstract: A rubber crawler (1) has a plurality of parallel metal links (11) embedded at regular distances from each other in circumferential direction of a rubber belt (22) and extending in the lateral direction of the rubber belt (22), each metal link (11) including a first (3) and second (13) protrusion at opposing sides (6, 16) of a sprocket (15) provided with an upper surface (7, 17) for guiding supporting rollers, extending in a height direction of the metal link (11) with respect to a base (5), each protrusion (3, 13) including a first (4) and a second (14) running surface element which extends in the longitudinal direction of the crawler (1), in which the second running surface element (14) is positioned shifted in longitudinal and the lateral direction of the belt (22) with respect to the first running surface element (4), in which the first (4) and the second (14) running surface of adjacent metal links (11) are positioned at least partially adjacent with respect to each other in the longitudinal direction, wh

  • Patent number: 7293844
Abstract: A rubber crawler track (1) has an endless rubber belt-shaped rubber crawler track main body (2) formed of a rubber elastic body and core metal pieces (3) embedded in the rubber crawler track main body (2) at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction of the rubber crawler track, wherein a high hardness intermediate rubber layer track main body (2) is provided from below at least the ground contacting surface side of an end portion in a length direction (rubber crawler track width direction) of the core metal pieces (3) toward outside the end portion in a width direction of the rubber crawler track. The rubber elastic body of the rubber crawler track main body (2) is formed in a multiply layered structure with at least two or more layers.

  • Patent number: 6176557
Abstract: An inner periphery driving type rubber crawler comprises: a plurality of core metals buried in series in the rubber crawler along the longitudinal direction thereof such that the longer sides of each core metal are in parallel with the transverse direction of the crawler; a plurality of steel cords buried in the rubber crawler such that they surround the outer periphery of the core metals; a pair of horns which protrude from each core metal toward the inner side of the rubber crawler and which have a shape longer in said transverse direction than said longitudinal direction; and rubber members which cover sides of said horn in said longitudinal direction. The paired horns and the associated rubber members form a pair of driving protrusions. A sprocket of a driving wheel is inserted between the driving protrusions and is engaged with the protrusions via driving pins for transferring driving force to the rubber crawler.
