Including Additional Locking Member For Retaining Link Connectors (e.g., Pin Connectors) Patents (Class 305/204)
  • Patent number: 9657810
Abstract: A rocker joint for a bush chain or roller chain, comprises a bush having a through-passage running along the bush longitudinal axis, a first rocker surface formed in the through-passage, and a pin arranged in the through-passage of the bush and which has a second rocker surface formed thereon. A chain comprises inner and outer chain links, which are offset relative to each other, the inner and outer chain links being connected by rocker joints, each of which comprises a bush and a pin. A friction-reducing joint and a chain with reduced friction and less wear are provided, and thus a reduced CO2 emission of the associated internal combustion engine, the chain being stable and easy to produce. This is achieved in that the bush is configured as a straight circular cylinder in which the through-passage is arranged in the bush eccentrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bush.

  • Patent number: 9494214
Abstract: To provide a metal chain having reduced weight and size but uncompromized strength, and manufacturable/assemblable with reduced work burden and cost. A metal chain is formed by coupling together a plurality of inner links and outer links alternately and pivotably in a longitudinal direction of the chain. Each of the outer link includes a pair of front and back pins and a pair of left and right outer plates. Each of the inner links includes a pair of front and back bushings and a pair of left and right inner plates. The pair of front and back bushings and the pair of left and right inner plates of the inner link are integrally formed as one component.

Abstract: In a crawler belt coupling apparatus, a first crawler belt link has a first through hole, and a first cutout in an inner circumferential surface of a first through hole. A master pin is inserted in the first through hole of the first crawler belt link, and has a second cutout in an outer circumferential surface thereof. A first recess is constructed of the first cutout and the second cutout, and has an opening at an end portion of the first through hole. A first knock pin is disposed such that one end surface thereof faces the opening. A first snap ring has a C-like shape, and is disposed to be separated from the one end surface of the first knock pin with a space therebetween or disposed in abutment with the one end surface.

  • Patent number: 6926460
Abstract: An link of a caterpillar which is allowed to maintain stabilized durability for a long period. The fixing structure has a link, and a pin inserted into a pin inserting bore formed in the link. A peripherally extending concave groove formed on the end portion of the pin and an opening periphery conjugate to forms an annular space. In order to limit relative escaping motion of the pin in the off-opening side (toward receding direction), a escape limiting ring is fitted into the annular space. The hardness of the bottom surface of the peripherally extending concave groove is lowered than the surface hardness of a link engaging portion of the pin.

  • Patent number: 6702407
Abstract: A gray-scale power supply line supplied to a source signal line driving circuit is made only one system, and each of D/A conversion circuits drives source signal lines in which three source signal lines corresponding to RGB are made a unit and the number of which is a multiple of 3. The periods in which respective source line selecting circuits select source signal lines corresponding to respective colors of the RGB are made synchronous with each other, and the power supply voltage applied to the gray-scale power supply line is changed in one horizontal writing period, so that power supply voltages corresponding to R, G and B are respectively applied to the gray-scale power supply line in periods while the source signal lines of R, G and B are respectively selected.

  • Patent number: 6612663
Abstract: A pressure receiving surface (8) having a diameter gradually decreasing in an axially inward direction is formed at an outer end portion of a pin (1), whereas a pressing portion (7) is formed at a circumferential edge of an opening of a pin insertion hole (5) of a link (2). A retaining ring (3) is formed with a friction surface (9) to be press-contacted to the pressure receiving surface (8) when a force is applied from the pressing portion (7) upon development of a relative movement in a disengaging direction. The retaining ring (3) and the pressure receiving surface (8) share a greater area of contact than in the prior art, providing sufficient friction. This makes possible to provide a fastening structure of the link and the pin of a crawler belt which can be assembled by simple operation at a low cost, without requiring a high machining accuracy, and thus can be manufactured at a low cost.

  • Patent number: 6290313
Abstract: An improved track end connector for a double-pin track assembly of a tracked vehicle includes a novel connector body, a bolt in the connector body, track pins held by the bolt, and a retainer ring engaging both the body and the bolt. The connector body defines a smooth bore having a relief groove holding the retainer ring. The bolt is inserted through the smooth bore until threads at one end of the bolt engage a second, threaded bore in the connector body. As the bolt screws into the threaded bore, a ramp near the bolt's head expands the retainer ring. As the bolt screws further into the threaded bore, a retention groove on the bolt is clinched by the retainer ring, so that the bolt can not unscrew from the threaded bore. A smooth shank portion of the bolt seats with concave depressions in the track pins, so that the track pins do not escape from the connector body.
