    Abstract: A security lock box that is mountable to a shelf. The shelf has a shelf surface for supporting merchandise thereon. The security lock box includes a cover adapted to be supported on top of the shelf and adapted to house and secure merchandise supported on the shelf therein. The cover is at least partially transparent to display merchandise when housed therein. The security lock box further includes a security device, which has a shelf mount and a lock. The shelf mount is adapted to be fastened to the shelf, and the lock releasably locks the cover to the shelf mount between a locked state, wherein the cover is locked to the shelf mount, and an unlocked state, wherein the cover is releasable from the shelf mount.

    Abstract: An illuminated dispenser and display apparatus for advertisements provides a solar powered display box for real estate flyers or brochures. The box includes a back panel, two side panels, a transparent front panel, a bottom, and a hinged lid or top panel so that a person can lift the lid open and remove a brochure. An internal bright white LED illuminates the front panel and the contents of the box. Power is supplied by an internal rechargeable battery, recharged by a solar panel mounted on the top of the hinged lid. A photo sensor activates the LED during low light conditions. An optional feature provides the inside wall of the back panel with one or a plurality of shelves or detents to accommodate information-bearing cards, such as business cards.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a showcase in which a width of a transparent door can be extended to substantially the whole width of a main body even in a case where a locking device is incorporated in a handle of a transparent door. A low-temperature showcase comprises the transparent door which is rotatably supported on the main body on one side so as to openably close an opening of the main body including a showroom, the handle disposed at an outer surface of this transparent door on an unsupported side, and a locking device disposed in this handle. The locking device has a keyhole, a rotary shaft which rotates concentrically with a key by a rotating operation of the key inserted into this keyhole and a hook which is attached to this rotary shaft so as to disengageably engage with the main body, and the keyhole is disposed at a side surface of the handle on a supported side of the transparent door.

    Abstract: A cemetery headstone/monument intended to be anchored upright in or on a foundation includes a carved or hollowed-out portion which functions as a display area. The hollowed portion may extend through the width of the headstone from the front face to the rear face thus creating a display window. The removed front and rear faces of the headstone may be replaced by a flat rigid material, preferably transparent in nature, so as to create a protective enclosure for the display area. A locking mechanism may be provided so as to secure the contents placed within the display area. A second embodiment of the invention provides for a headstone/monument suitably adapted to permit the non-permanent attachment of display devices To the top and side surfaces of the headstone. The display devices are detachably mounted to the headstone through the use of appropriate bolting means anchored into the headstone and by aligning complimentary holes located in the display device with the pre-drilled holes in the headstone.

A tack board mounted to the rear wall of the base member supports documents being displayed. The door has a transparent window for viewing the documents. Novel features include a cylindrical internal cavity cooperatively formed between the cover and base members for holding rolled up drawings, a slot for insertion of mail or written messages, pull down latches for securing the cover, a lock for the cover, a document holder located on the inside of the cover, an external rear recess configured to steady the display case against and mount the display case on a four inch by four inch post, and a frontal area protected by being recessed, for posting notes or writing messages with ink markers. The cover hinge is a piano hinge embedded in both the cover and the base.

The housing preferably comprises a substantially rectangular cabinet having first and second sides, a top, a bottom and a back. A door is attached to the cabinet and includes a chemically-treated glare-resistant window. A video monitor is supported in the cabinet for displaying television commercials or like programming material under the control of the merchandising system. The housing includes a vent slot in at least one of the sides or back of the cabinet for venting the inside of the cabinet and substantially preventing water from entering the cabinet.
