Abstract: A closet or enclosure 100 (closet) fit into an attic. A panel (110) forms the bottom of the closet. The panel can be lowered to the living space below manually or by using a return spring or electrical means. The panel holds a cabinet, box, or other storage item (105 or 2225). Air space (150) around the cabinet or items insulates it from thermal contact with the walls. Alternatively a cabinet is hung from a restraining member (145), or arm (1105), so it can be raised for storage and lowered for access. In this aspect, the panel is secured to the bottom of the cabinet. Optional vents (155) and fan (160) urge circulation between the air space and the living space, reducing temperature extremes in the air space and hence the cabinet. In other aspects, air treatment units (HVAC, dehumidifier, etc.) condition the air within the closet or enclosure.

Abstract: Wall-mounted cabinet comprising a body (1) on each side of which is arranged a linear actuator (4). The linear actuator comprises a spindle (6) with a spindle nut, where the spindle is driven by a reversible electric motor via a transmission. The spindle nut is attached directly or indirectly to the side of the body (1), such that the body is lowered or raised in dependency of the direction of the revolution of the motor. The construction has the advantage that the internal of the body is completely clean for mechanical parts which lowers and raises the body. Moreover, the actuators only take up minimum space on the outer side of the body.

Abstract: Computer workstation includes a mounting bracket for attachment to a wall, and a cabinet connected to the mounting bracket. A track, attached to the cabinet, is engaged with the mounting bracket to vertically guide the cabinet. A non-contacting sensor detects a computer operator. An input device tray is rotatably connected to the cabinet, and has i) an operating position that holds computer input device(s) in an input position and ii) a stowed position substantially preventing access. First electromagnet selectively retains the tray in the stowed position. Second electromagnet selectively retains the tray in the operating position. An electronic lock control panel accepts authentication input from the operator. An electronic lock control module, in a lockable compartment of the cabinet, is connected to the lock control panel and the sensor. The lock control module separately controls electric current flow through the electromagnets in response to authentication by the lock control module.
