Abstract: The present disclosure provides a storage cabinet of which a cabinet body is enclosed by a rear back plate, a left plate, a right plate, a cabinet door and a door frame; and a top plate is located in a top opening of the cabinet body and closes the top opening, and a bottom plate is located in a bottom opening of the cabinet body and closes the bottom opening. The present disclosure can improve the mounting efficiency.

Abstract: A folding apparatus for storing articles for display, the apparatus including a board of multiwall structure of polypropylene material which board includes two parallel vertical folds dividing a first sheet of the board into a back-plane part, a left side part and a right side part. The side parts are foldable by 180 degrees with respect to the back-plane part. The back-plane part includes a plurality of horizontal slots, and the side parts include a plurality of holes corresponding to the plurality of slots. The apparatus also includes a A plurality of rods which are insertable through corresponding holes in the side parts. The apparatus also includes a plurality of shelves also including multiwall structure of polypropylene material, where each shelf rests on one of the plurality of rods and has a flap inserted in a corresponding slot.

Abstract: A furniture kit that is configured to be transformed into a furniture piece. The furniture kit includes a folding unit comprising a front member and a back member, both of which are interconnected by folding arms. The front and back members are movable between retracted and extended positions. There is also provided a pair of side panels with each side panel being connectable through a tongue and groove arrangement to the front and back members. A top is secured to the folding unit. The entire furniture kit can be packaged in a compact container with the folding unit in a collapsed or retracted position and other individual components of the kit placed adjacent thereto.

In the flattened state, the frame can be flattened out so that the frame panels lie in substantially the same plane, thereby reducing the space occupied by the frame.

Abstract: A shelving unit includes a support frame and a plurality of support boards each mounted on the support frame. The support frame includes a front support bracket, a back board located opposite to the front support bracket, four first connecting tubes each having a first end connected with the respective corner of the front support bracket, and four second connecting tubes each having a first end connected with a second end of the respective first connecting tube and a second end connected with the respective corner of the back board. Thus, the shelving unit can be assembled and disassembled without using tools, thereby facilitating assembling the shelving unit. A tabletop may be slidably received in the center housing and a collapsable chair stored in the play center.

Abstract: A storage cabinet comprised of an upper cover, a frame, a base, a back mirror, and a rear panel. The frame is fabricated of steel tubing (hollow metal tubes) and active hinges are installed on the frame to provide for its folding, thereby simplifying packaging material cost. Slide slots are formed along the top edges of lateral frame members that provide for the installation and positioning of the back mirror and the rear panel. The overall design of the present invention reduces components to a bare minimum and is safe, convenient, facilitates DIY assembly, and lowers import and export shipping costs.

In one embodiment, the present invention provides a novel offset hinge assembly allowing for a foldable cabinet that creates the visual impression of traditional, non-folding cabinets. Abstract: An apparatus for securing a free edge of a security cover relative to a free edge of a finery case containing jewelry, precious metals and the like. The apparatus includes an elongate coupling member having first and second open channels formed therein. The free edge of the security cover is fastened within the first open channel. An elongate locking channel includes an elongate coupling edge and a J-shaped cross section, with the coupling edge fastened within the second open channel of the coupling member. The second open channel of the coupling member and the coupling edge of the locking channel include correspondingly-shaped cross sections having corners to enable the coupling edge to interlock within the coupling member. The locking channel is configured and dimensioned to interlock around the free edge of the finery case when the cover is placed against a sidewall of the case and further secured relative to the case, to thereby secure the free edge of the cover relative to the free edge of the case.

Abstract: A one-piece framework for holding the filter media of an air filter includes a pair of end walls integrally connected to a pair of frame members by a living hinge so that they may be pivotally moved between an assembled position and an unassembled position. A pair of sidewalls are integrally connected to the frame members by a living hinge only at their outermost ends so that they, too, may be pivotally moved between their assembled and unassembled position. Each of either of the sidewalls or end walls is provided with a tab-type latch which includes a button undercut at least a peripheral portion thereof. Each of the other sidewalls or end walls has an opening formed therethrough. The opening is defined by a wall shaped in accordance with and frictionally surrounding the undercut button in a snap-fit to hold the sidewalls to the end walls in an assembled state.

Abstract: A protective cover for finery cases containing jewelry, precious metals and the like. The cover is made of nontransparent plastic sheets which are hinged together. A J-shaped channel is disposed on the free edge of one of the sheets for interlocking around a lower lip of a jewelry case. The plastic sheets correspond in size to the walls of the jewelry case to permit the sheets to hingedly extend around the edge corners of the case so that each plastic sheet is coextensive with and covers an outer glass-paneled wall of the case. The free edge of the cover opposite the J-shaped channel is locked to the case to prevent removal of the cover, which renders the case nontransparent.

Abstract: A furniture drawer is constructed by providing a generally flat, elongate metal body member and manually bending the member to form a rear wall and a pair of side walls. Bending of the body member to form corners at the juncture of the side walls and rear wall is facilitated by transverse coined indentations in the body member which create lines of weakness in the body for accurately locating the corners. The body member is also formed with channels for receiving drawer slides and for receiving a bottom panel. Flanges formed at forward ends of the body member provide for attachment of a suitable drawer front. The drawer assembly as thus designed is capable of being economically packaged flat and shipped for easy assembly by the consumer.

Abstract: An article of furniture such as a table, having four sides connected to each other by corner hinges. Two of the sides are each formed as two halves hinged together and normally rigidified by top rails, and by a horizontal work support panel located between the sides. When the work support panel is lifted and removed from the front, and the top rails are removed, the hinged sides can be folded inwardly so that the table frame assumes a relatively flat configuration. The front side of the table can be formed as two separate pieces, in which case the intermediate hinges in the sides can be removed. The table can also be made in a three-sided configuration, or in a bookshelf or cabinet configuration.

Inside the body portions, rails extend from side to side. Hooked ends latch into latching apertures in the side wall and the side wall of any adjacent unit to link them together. Special angled joining units are provided to allow the units to be joined to form elongate assemblies of varying configuration.

Abstract: A foldable assembly cabinet having the parts thereof formed by injection molding can be collaped into a compact size without disassembly thereof for effective reduction of the packing volume so as to facilitate the delivery thereof in one aspect and lower the cost of transportation in another. The cabinet includes a case body, a left and a right side board, a top lid and a bottom board and a number of partition boards. The left side board and the right side board are pivotally secured to the case body and the right side board is made wider than the left side board so that the former can be folded in superposition on top of the latter; and the two side boards are located in abutment against the folded top lid and bottom board in the collapsing of the cabinet. Each of the side boards and top lid and the bottom board and the partition boards of the cabinet is provided with a grid-like reinforcement structure.

Abstract: A table having three major components, top, shelf and base, all constructed of light-weight wood or other light-weight materials and constructed so that the table is easily and quickly assembled and disassembled without the need for tools. All three parts simply fit together and have a handle or a hand-hole for carrying. Such a table provides art and drafting students an economical and light-weight drafting table which can be easily carried and set up. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the folding portable drafting table includes a folding, three panel base, a shelf adapted to be received between the panels of the base, and a removable top adapted to be placed over the base and having depending rails which form grooves therebetween adapted to receive the upper ends of the side panels of the base. The table is easily disassembled by lifting the top off the base, pulling the shelf out, and folding the side panels against the center panel of the base.

The lectern comprises an upright front panel having opposing vertical side walls perpendicularly joined thereto, and top and bottom panels horizontally disposed and perpendicularly fixed to the front panel and side walls. A pair of vertically disposed wing panels is pivotally joined along the respective vertical edge of the side walls for receiving and supporting a leaf panel therebetween. The leaf panel is pivotally joined along the horizontal edge of the top panel within the confines of the side walls, and is arranged so that it will extend from a closed position, wherein it is parallel to the front panel, to a deployed position, wherein it is outwardly extended about its pivotal axis to form a declining platform relative to the top panel.

The side walls (3 and 4) have supporting elements placed oppositely in pairs, e.g. horizontal L-shaped rails (22) which are positively engageable with members formed on the transport trays (5), e.g. channels (21). The channel members are incorporated at the bottom (18) of the transport trays, to facilitate in cooperation with the L-shaped rail members loading by insertion of the transport trays (5) and securing of the side walls (3 and 4) when the side walls are in their active position.

A top member plate is provided and has a channel system for receiving a portion of the sidewall panels to be supported thereby. A carrying case is provided and has walls defining a cavity for holding the base member plate with the wheels in a stored position, the plurality of sidewall panels in a stored position and the top member plate.

Abstract: A furniture member includes a back wall, two sidewalls, a bottom wall and a top wall, which can be constructed framelike or solid. In order to facilitate disassembly, transport in a small space, and assembly and disassembly without tools, and to assure sufficient stiffness of the assembled furniture member, a post is provided on each side of the back wall, each post being wider than the back wall so as to project forwardly and rearwardly beyond it. Each sidewall has, in its rear region, a recess which receives a respective post of the back wall, each sidewall being connected to the associated post by upper and lower pivot joints. The pivot joints of the respective sidewalls are arranged on opposite sides of the back wall, so that in a collapsed condition each sidewall lies on a respective side of the back wall.

Abstract: A folding clothes hanger including a first wall member, at least one clothes hanger mounted on the first wall member, a second wall member, at least one clothes hanger mounted on the second wall member, and a central post portion and with both the first and second wall members extending from and attached to the central post portion at angularly spaced positions and with at least one of the first and second wall members pivotably mounted to the central post portion for providing for at least a closed position with the first and second wall members lying substantially parallel to each other and an open position with the first and second wall members lying at an angular relationship to each other.

Abstract: A ready access cabinet is disclosed that is comprised of a plurality of panel sections arranged in hinged and spring-tensioned relationship to each other so that when a locking pin is removed, the front, top, bottom and side panels are "exploded" from their engaged closure position into a fully opened one so that immediate and unencumbered access to the contents of the cabinet is provided.

Abstract: A camper cooking and dining unit which can be withdrawn from the rear of a stationwagon or truck and unfolded to produce a complete kitchen and table unit for dining and cooking meals. The unit includes an icebox, cooking stove, wash basin and many storage compartments for food and cooking and dining utensils. The unit is supported by arms extending from the bumper of the vehicle which hinge as the unit is unfolded.
