    Abstract: A connector is provided for connecting a first panel to a second panel with the first panel having one edge thereof fixed relative to a surface of the second panel and the two panels extending transversely, typically at right angles, to each other. The connector includes an anchor unit for cooperation with an aperture through the first panel inwardly of the one edge thereof and a nut captive relative to the anchor unit for receiving a fastener passing through the second panel for urging the anchor unit towards the second panel. The anchor unit includes a first component and a second component each of which has a generally planar base with one or more attachment lugs receiving the fastener. The peripheral edge of the base, in each case, is shaped so that the base covers and obscures the aperture with a flat abutment edge engaging the second panel.
