Abstract: A portable fluid tank apparatus for removably mounting on supports for a bulk seed container of a seed cart may include a pedestal configured for resting on the container supports of a seed cart in a seed box support position, a tank housing located on a portion of the pedestal and defining a tank chamber configured to hold a liquid, and an accessory housing located on another portion of the pedestal and defining an accessory compartment configured to hold at least one accessory. The accessory housing may include a base portion mounted on the pedestal and defining an opening for accessing the accessory compartment, and a lid portion mounted on the base portion and being movable with respect to the base portion between a closed position restricting access to the accessory compartment through the opening and an open position permitting access to the accessory compartment through the opening.

Abstract: A home appliance includes a main body having a storage compartment, a first door hingedly coupled to the main body that opens and closes the storage compartment, and a second door that rotates relative to the first door. The second door includes a latch receptor. The first door includes a locking device with a magnetic component and a latch member. In a state in which the first door closes the storage compartment of the main body, separating the magnetic component from the main body by a first distance, the locking device disengages the latch member from the latch receptor of the second door. In a state in which the first door opens the storage compartment of the main body, separating the magnetic component from the main body by greater than the first distance, the locking device engages the latch member into the latch receptor of the second door.

Abstract: An electrical connector has a casing configured to define a chamber when mated with a mating connector, a plurality of contact pins projecting from the casing into the chamber when mated with the mating connector, and a moisture-absorbing pin retained by the casing for movement between a retracted position wherein the moisture-absorbing pin is substantially enclosed by the casing and an extended position wherein the moisture-absorbing pin extends into the chamber. A fluid is contained within the casing that is compressed by a movement of at least one of the contact pins during engagement of the electrical connector with the mating connector, compression of the fluid urging the moisture absorbing pin from the retracted position to the extended position.

Abstract: A chiller for an aircraft galley is disclosed having a housing defining an interior space, the housing including dividers to segregate the interior space into separate chambers. The chambers are enclosed by a pair of doors on a front of the housing that allow a user to gain access to the chambers, a first door providing access to at least one chamber and a second door providing access to at least one different chamber. A side door is also provided that permits access to at least one chamber, wherein at least one chamber is not accessible through said side door.

Abstract: A device for establishing a connection with an electronic device comprises a connection device, a lever and a pedestal having a face comprises a latch having a degree of rotation with the pedestal. The connection device has one degree of rotation according to a first axis parallel to the face of the pedestal, and comprises the electronic connector and a concave relief. The lever is linked to the pedestal by a linkage comprising at least one degree of rotation according to a second axis parallel to the first axis of rotation. The lever comprises a convex relief corresponding to the concave relief of the connection device, and an elastic component adapted to maintain a contact between the lever and the pedestal. The lever is configured to enter in contact with the connection device after a rotation of the connection device enabled by the rotation of the latch.

The work platform may be rotated relative to the cabinet to simultaneously deploy the work surface and to raise the monitor. A base supports the cabinet for movement on wheels. A frame extends from the base and supports a cabinet such that the cabinet is movable between a raised position and a lowered position.

The mechanism includes a cover which serves as the actuator for a jack mechanism. The device can be released from the secure position by opening the cover. A buffer spring operating in conjunction with the jacking mechanism allows the mechanism to secure devices having different thicknesses and widths, while the pivotal pressure plate allows the plate to conform to devices having different shapes.

A conversion mechanism converts the operating force of the door, acting in the direction of opening and closing of the door, into a force in the direction of inserting and removing the recording medium. A first driving unit is driven in the direction of insertion and removal of the recording medium through force converted by the conversion mechanism and engages with the recording medium when the door is closing so as to cause the recording medium to be moved toward the terminals of the information device.

Abstract: An adjustable counterbalance system is provided for an appliance cabinet having a door hinged to the cabinet for movement from a closed to an opened position. A counterbalance spring includes one end connected to the door and another end connected to a movable bracket which is mounted adjacent the lower edge of the cabinet wall. The bracket includes a lead screw which is positioned on the interior of the cabinet wall and which is accessible through an access opening in the front wall of the cabinet. Movement of the bracket toward and away from the door adjusts the tension in the spring.

Abstract: A memory card storage device is adapted to be used in various electronic apparatus, in which a memory card is used. The device has a lid so hinged to a case of a main body of the apparatus as to open receiving the memory card, a card connector slidably mounted in the lid, and a revolving link pivotted at a part of the case near the front end of the lid. The revolving link and the card connector are so connected as to interlock. The case and the lid form a closed space storing the memory card when the lid is closed. The memory card is stored in the closed space. When the lid is open, the link revolves and the connector is drawn toward the outside of the case, ejecting the memory card.

Said latch is operated by the timer controlled switching assembly of the machine, so as to release the door at the end of the rinsing cycle. Legs are located on the lower surface of the slide so that when the door is rotated into the open position, the slide is moved forwardly by the pivotal connection between the slide and the door and the slide is tilted upwardly about the lower end of the legs to permit items resting on the slide to move forwardly onto the door into contact with an indexing stop member which is located on the door.

Abstract: A top loading clothes washer pivotally supported so that it can be installed underneath a stationary structure and tilted forward for loading and unloading clothes. The pivotal support is provided by a stable base which also includes apparatus such as a hook for preventing forward tilting past a predetermined loading and unloading tilt-out position. The front of the washer is truncated and the tilt axis is backward from the truncation but forward from the washer center of gravity. In the upright washing position, rear feet on the washer provide support for the washer and also engage the base to horizontally secure the washer to the base for stability during spin dynamics. A biased hinge covering the front truncation provides backward torque about the tilt axis so that the washer feet carry a significant amount of the washer weight.

When the cover is raised, the lever arms (32) displace the cover (18) relative to the cabinet so that the channel (56, 58) members slide over the slide members (60, 62).

There is an opening through the door and an ice piece receptacle on the inner surface of the freezer door. A closure member is pivotally mounted at the bottom thereof to the door and movable outwardly therefrom and the closure member has side panels secured to the inner surface and extending rearwardly of the closure member. The ice storage receptacle supported on the inner surface of the door has the interior thereof accessible through the opening in the door and the receptacle has a floor movable from a first position when the closure member is closed to a second elevated position when the closure member is opened to permit manual removal of ice pieces from the ice receptacle without opening the door.

Abstract: Parallel links pivotally connect each end of a tabletop to a table base so that the top can be swung in level attitude elevationally and laterally relative to the base. A tie rod synchronizes the movement of links at opposite ends of the top to maintain such links in alignment for smooth swinging of the top. When the top is swung upward and outward from a position centrally of the table base, mechanism responsive to such swinging of the top automatically projects a stabilizing foot outward beyond the side of the base toward which the top moves, and such mechanism retracts such foot into the base when the top is swung downward and inward.

Abstract: In a tape recorder having an opening for accommodating a tape-containing cassette, a spring-loaded cover plate pivotally disposed over the opening to prevent intrusion of dust thereinto and a latch for locking the cover in a closed position, a fluid pressure mechanism is provided having a pair of mutually telescoping elements coupled between the cover plate and the recorder housing. One of the elements has a packing groove and a resilient elastic composition packing ring of normally circular cross section seated in the groove, the packing ring having an exterior periphery greater in circumference than the circumference of the bore of the other element so that the ring is compressed in the groove as the telescoping elements are in slidable contact with each other.

Abstract: A unit for sterilizing instruments in a chemical germicide solution having a container for holding the solution and a cover for closing the container. A tray having slots formed in the bottom thereof receives the instruments. A support for the tray is attached between the cover and the bottom of the container and moves the tray and instruments from a first position of immersion in the solution to a second position above the solution as the cover is pivoted upwardly from the container. The slots in the tray allow the solution to drain from the tray and the instruments.
