Pivot Stop Patents (Class 312/334.47)
  • Patent number: 7648214
Abstract: A positioning device for a drawer slide bearing carrier includes a bearing carrier having rollers located between a carrying rail and a sliding rail. The bearing carrier has a recess and a hook portion at a front end thereof. The carrying rail has a support at a front end thereof. The support comprises a hook unit which is pivotally connected to a block fixed on the carrying rail. An elastic force is formed between the support and the hook unit, urging the hook unit to restore its original position. Thereby, the front end of the bearing carrier is pressed by the block so that the hook portion engages with the hook unit to secure the bearing carrier in place. The carrying rail further comprises a releasing mechanism adapted to control the swing of the hook unit for the movement of different locations.

Abstract: A rail assembly includes a first rail and a second rail is movably received in the first rail. A third rail is movably received in the second space. A retrieving unit includes a fixed member which is fixedly located in an end of the first rail and an extension rail extends from the fixed member. A movable member is slidably connected to the extension rail and the extension rail is sized to be received in the escape space defined inward from an underside of the second rail so that the second rail is moved to a position above the extension rail. Two grooves are defined in a top on two sides of the fixed member so that the two sidewalls of the third rail are slidably engaged with the grooves.

  • Patent number: 7552982
Abstract: The invention concerns a drawer slide assembly, preferably for use in appliances, comprising a catch mechanism for resisting slide extension when the drawer is in a closed position. The catch mechanism is made of a spring arm pivotally mounted to one of the rails and an anchorage point provided in the other rail. When the assembly is moved to the closed position, the anchorage point engages and rotates the spring arm about its axis. Thus, opening the drawer requires a certain force to rotate the spring back. The use of a simple spring arm reduces friction between parts, reduces assembly costs and maintains desired flexibility and tolerance for drawer production and usage.

Abstract: A slide assembly includes a catch assembly secured to a first rail member, and a second rail member in sliding engagement with the first rail member. The second rail member includes a post extending laterally towards the first rail member. The catch assembly includes a catch member pivotable between a post retaining position and a post releasing position. When the catch member is in the post releasing position, movement of the second rail member from an extended position to a retracted position causes the post to engage a bearing surface of the catch member to pivot the catch member from the post releasing position to the post retaining position. The bearing surface of the catch member is contoured to provide substantially continuous and uniform engagement between the bearing surface and the post as the post pivots the catch member from the post releasing position to the post retaining position.

  • Patent number: 7413269
Abstract: A synchronous system for a three-stage ball bearing slide includes a carrier track being inserted into a fixed track to carry a mobile track. Both of the mobile and the carrier tracks engage in reciprocal movement along the same axis direction in relation to the fixed track. A dancer is pivoted to the rear end of the carrier track. The carrier track synchronously slides with the mobile track by a protruding tongue on the mobile track upholding the dancer, and is held in position by having the dancer to uphold a compression bit on the fixed track. A direct push on the extreme where the carrier track is extended releases the dancer from the compression bit to retract once again the carrier track into the fixed track.

  • Patent number: 7413270
Abstract: An improved locking device of sliding drawer comprises a sliding rail and a locking device, when the sliding drawer is pushed back to a cabinet body, the locking device is initiated when a second sliding track moves along the sliding rail towards a direction of the cabinet body. When one of the circumferential parts of the locking device comes into contact with a protruding portion of a first sliding track, an attaching portion is rotated around the rotating shaft at a rotation center thereby biasing a flexible part of the locking device and generating a first restoring force, a flexible device of the first sliding track is triggered by the second sliding track to generate a second restoring force, when the protruding portion is inserted through the trench and seated within the arc-shaped structure, the first restoring force of the flexible device is released such that the drawer is now locked within the cabinet body.

Abstract: The present disclosure is a one-way drawer stop having a counterbalanced latch 16 and stop plate 20. In the preferred embodiment the latch mechanism 16 is installed on the sliding member 14 while the stop plate 20 is installed on the stationary member 22. In operation, the sliding member 14 is moved from a closed position where it encounters the stop plate 20 whereupon the exposed end of the latch mechanism 16 is depressed moving it from engagement with the stop plate allowing the sliding member to be fully opened. When the sliding member 14 is moved from the open position into the closed position, the latch 16 rides up and over the stop mechanism 20 providing the sliding member with a stop mechanism that prevents opening but not closing.
