Abstract: A drawer fixing apparatus includes a bottom rail on a cabinet and having a movable latch member and at least one slide. The slide has a brake connected to a fixing member by a resilient member and an inner rail slidable on the slide and combined with a drawer. The inner rail includes a driven member having an embedding groove and a movable turning member pivotally connected to the driven member. As the inner rail moves with the drawer into the cabinet, the slide moves accordingly. The brake pushes the driven member to drive the turning member to rotate and press a latch member. When a user releases his/her hand, the resilient member pulls the brake backward slight to resume the turning member to its original position, while the latch member falls naturally into the embedding groove of the driven member by gravitational force to achieve the positioning effect.

The hooks are removable so that the rail assembly will fit racks having narrow widths. Mounting adapters enable the mounting flanges to mate with corner posts having round holes as well as those having square holes. Securing tabs engage front corner posts of the rack to prevent the rail and the computer enclosure from sliding out. To accommodate racks having various depths, the securing tabs may be mounted at more than one location on the side of the computer enclosure.

Abstract: A component chassis of a server is installed into a rack with a quick-disconnect slide rail. The inner rail member is secured to the component chassis by a quick-connect system having multiple headed protrusions received in corresponding keyhole slots in the rail web, and then slid along the slots until a spring latch snaps into place, without the use of tools. The component chassis, with its attached inner rail members, is then slid into place by inserting the inner rail members in mating outer rail members pre-installed on the rack.

Abstract: A mounting bracket system is provided for installing a shelving accessory within a cabinet assembly having a pair of front and rear corner posts on opposed sides of the cabinet. Each of the pair of corner posts has facing surfaces formed with aligned keyholes therein. The mounting bracket system includes a pair of mounting brackets disposed on each side of the cabinet, one of the mounting brackets being selectively mounted to a front corner post and the other being selectively mounted to a rear corner post. Each of the mounting brackets has a planar side wall including mounting structure for mounting the shelving accessory. A first end wall extends generally perpendicular to the side wall and has an outer surface engageable with one of the facing surfaces. A second end wall is spaced from and lies parallel to the first end wall. A pair of rivets is fixed to the first end wall and is spaced apart a predetermined distance matching the spacing between two of the keyholes.
