Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a dispenser assembly for dispensing supplies of sheet material. The dispensing assembly can include a carrier supporting the supplies of sheet material and being moveable along a track between various dispensing positions. The dispenser assembly also can include a carrier pivoting assembly with a lever that engages one of the supplies of sheet material and rotates during dispensing thereof, as well as one or more biased pins connected to the lever and configured to engage locking features provided along the track to support the carrier in one of the dispensing positions. The biased pins further can be configured to retract with rotation of the lever such that they disengage the locking features so the carrier to moves along the track to different dispensing position. Other aspects also are described.

Abstract: A system for a toilet paper holder and dispenser including a dispensing assembly, a storage assembly and a shelf assembly is disclosed. The toilet paper dispenser includes means for dispensing toilet paper to users, preferably in commercial bathrooms. The toilet paper dispenser is capable of also storing additional toilet paper rolls for future usage. The shelf assembly includes a shelf atop of the storage assembly for holding items thereon, such as a mobile phone, for example. The shelf includes a non-skid surface that helps to secure items placed thereon from falling to a ground surface. There is also hooks placed adjacent to the toilet paper dispenser which are capable of holding items such as purses or keys, for example.

Abstract: The present invention is a toilet paper dispensing device having loading means located at an upper intake portion of the housing to permit introduction of paper rolls into the housing therefrom. Toilet paper rolls are stored and released into a lower compartment having locking means for rotatably engage a paper roll being used and releasable mounted within a lower dispensing portion of the housing to cooperatively permit a user to pull the paper from said paper roll being used; upon the toilet paper roll in use, a user can remove the empty roll using a door on the housing and actuate a lever to allow the next toilet paper roll in line to fall into the lower compartment and be held in place by hook members so a user can easily grab toilet paper from the lower compartment.

Abstract: A paper towel dispenser assembly including a support frame that receives a continuous length of pleated paper toweling. The paper towel dispenser assembly further including a sensor that actuates dispensing of an end of the continuous length of pleated paper toweling and a cutter that cuts a discrete towel from the end of the continuous length of pleated paper toweling.

Abstract: An improved towel dispenser includes a rotatable driveshaft mounted in a one-way clutch bearing fitted with a pinion which engages a vertically oriented press bar assembly including at its lower portion a rack which engages the pinion to advance paper towel through a dispensing nip upon pivotable motion of the press bar assembly. A dispensing chute located below the dispensing nip includes a lower shelf configured to direct web forwardly toward the front portion of a dispenser. The gear rack is preferably an internal gear rack integrally formed with a unitary press bar assembly member. The dispensing chute is configured such that an angle between a cutting-blade and the outer lip of the shelf makes an angle with a vertical of at least about 25°.

Abstract: A hands-free towel dispenser is provided which utilizes an active sensing system, preferably an infra-red system, for detecting when a dispense of toweling should occur. The control for the dispenser is designed for low power use, thereby allowing the dispenser to be battery powered. The dispenser can also be powered by a solar panel, either in addition to or in place of, the batteries. Thus, the dispenser can be used in all lighting conditions. In addition, the dispenser is microprocessor controlled, thereby reducing costs and adding flexibility and functionality.

Abstract: A hands-free towel dispenser for dispensing a measured sheet from a roll of towel material includes a housing having an internal volume so as to retain at least one roll of towel material therein. An electronically powered dispensing mechanism is contained within the housing for dispensing a measured sheet from the roll of towel material upon actuation of the dispensing mechanism. A passive trigger sensor is disposed so as to detect the presence of a user in a first detection zone, and an active dispense sensor is disposed so as to detect the presence of a user in a second detection zone that is different from the first detection zone. For each dispense cycle, the passive trigger sensor senses the presence of a user in the first detection zone prior to the active dispense sensor being enabled to initiate a dispense sequence upon detection of the user in the second detection zone.

Abstract: A paper roll dispenser comprising a tube having an open upper end through which rolls may be introduced and an open lower end through which dispensed rolls may be retrieved. The tube is adapted to hold a plurality of rolls comprising at least a lowermost roll and a roll upwardly adjacent the lowermost roll. A lever member is supported on the tube to pivot on the tube, and is pivotable between a retaining position (in which a lower end of the level engages the lowermost roll and an upper end of the lever is spaced from the upwardly adjacent roll) and a dispensing position (in which the lower end of the lever is spaced from the lowermost roll and the upper end of the lever engages the upwardly adjacent roll). Also provided is a biasing device biasing the lever from the dispensing position to the retaining position.

Abstract: A dispenser having a transfer mechanism for transferring between a first source and a second source of sheet material, and a method for transferring between the first source and the second source. Dispensing is transferred from a first source to a second source upon an absence of sheet material from the first source. The transfer mechanism includes a transfer roller with a slot to receive a free end of sheet material from the second source. The transfer roller also includes a plurality of raised portions, the raised portions are free to rotate through a dispensing roller when there is an absence of sheet material from the first source. This rotation introduces the free end of sheet material from the second source to the dispensing roller, and allows dispensing from the second source. Afterwards, the transfer roller is set to receive sheet material from a new source of sheet material.

Abstract: An automatic web transfer mechanism in a flexible sheet material dispenser includes a web-sensing member operatively coupled with a transfer arm. The member senses the absence of web from a stub roll at a pre-feed portion between the stub roll and a feed roll nip to activate a transfer of feed to the web of a reserve roll. The transfer is initiated by a transfer arm that advances the reserve web into the proximity of the feed roller nip. In a second aspect, a movable front shield opens automatically upon opening of the outer dispenser cover, presenting an opening for pre-transfer placement and retention of a leading edge of web material from the reserve roll. Upon closure of the dispenser cover, the front shield returns to a closed position placing the transfer arm in a pre-transfer set position.

A lock (24, 25;27) is intended to keep the second roll in standby position. The disk plate is spring-loaded (23) and cooperates with the lock such that when a roll is located in place in the disk plate the lock (24, 25;27) prevents the standby roll from falling down.

Abstract: A toilet tissue roll dispensing and storage apparatus includes a box member defining an interior volume capable of containing at least one roll of toilet tissue and having at least one opening. The apparatus also includes a door assembly, which has a movable door adapted to selectively cover the opening of the box member. A toilet tissue roll holding and dispensing mechanism is mounted on an exterior surface of the door. The box member is adapted to be mounted on a wall having an interior space and an exterior surface. In an embodiment, the box member can be mounted in the interior space of wall, and the door assembly can be mounted on the exterior surface of the wall. If the wall is of a type constructed of at least two wall studs spaced apart from one another, and the box member can be mounted between the wall studs. The roll holding and dispensing mechanism can include at least one bracket mounted to an exterior surface of the door, with a spindle supported by the bracket.

Abstract: A toilet tissue dispenser comprising a housing. An upper front door in the housing lifts upwardly, so that multiple toilet paper rolls can be stacked into the housing. The housing has a lower front notch opening, to allow the lowest toilet paper roll to be removed therefrom.

Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing sheet material from a roll of sheet material includes a rotatable sheet material engagement member having an outer surface for engaging the sheet material. A pivoted shaft is mounted adjacent to the sheet material engagement member having a feed roller mounted thereon. The shaft and feed roller are pivotally moved toward the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller is rotated to transport the sheet material over the outer surface of the sheet material engagement member. Spaced tucker members are connected to the sheet material engagement member and simultaneously rotate and pivot upon depletion of a primary roll of sheet material to position the lead end of a reserve roll between the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller.
