Abstract: A storage assembly includes a base assembly having a base member and a back member, first and second cabinet assemblies slidable with respect to the base assembly and having top members and front members, and cooperating with the base assembly to define an interior space. The storage assembly further includes a first guide assembly including a first track member secured to the back member and roller assemblies secured to the top members, and that track within the first track member, and a second guide assembly including a second track member secured to the base member and guide members secured to the front members, and that track within the second track member, and roller assemblies secured to the front members, wherein the roller assemblies are adapted to roll along the second track member.

Abstract: An adjustable furniture attachment clamp for attachment to the underside of a furniture item with two spaced apart arm fasteners, the clamp comprising a clamp body having oppositely disposed laterally extending forked arms, each arm having a fastener slot having a width greater than the shanks of the arm fasteners, the fastener slots including inner ends spaced apart a distance less than the arm fasteners, such that lateral and forward-to-back play is provided for adjustment of the clamp relative to the furniture item, the clamp also having a downwardly facing beam pocket including a beam capture surface for holding the right upper beam flange of a support I-beam and a cam having a binding face for pressing against the lower portion of the left upper beam flange when a cam fastener is tightened for attaching the clamp body to the I-beam.

Abstract: Enclosure for storing sensitive materials are disclosed. They may be in a special container (1), sealed and purged, replacing the internal atmosphere with an inert purge gas, and leaving the sealed container slightly pressurized. By hinging a lid or door (5) to the container via hinges (12, 13), the respective parts of which can move relative to one another translationally, at least when the door or lid (1) is in the closed position, and in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the door or lid, much improved sealing may be achieved. The invention also relates to methods used to deliver and duct the purge gas within the container to ensure good purge gas delivery and mixing.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for connecting a door to a container. The door provides and restricts access to a chamber of the container in respective open and closed positions. The mechanism includes, at each corresponding lateral side of the container and the door, a rail mounted to the container, an elbow, and first and second linkage arms. The rail aligns along a fore-and-aft direction so that the elbow slides along that direction. The elbow has vertical and axial members. The axial member connects to the rail. The first linkage arm includes first, second and third joints that pivotably connect respectively to the vertical member, to the container, and to the door. The second linkage arm includes fourth and fifth joints that pivotably connect respectively to the door and to the container. The linkage arms are disposed to avoid lateral obstruction beyond the door in the open position.

Abstract: An anti-falling apparatus for a cabinet includes a receiving member capable of being mounted to the cabinet. An extending arm is slidably received in the receiving member. The extending arm includes a first end a second end, and is capable of moving from a first position to a second position. A supporting sub-assembly is attached to the first end of the extending arm. A first distance from the first end to a top of the receiving member is greater than that a second distance from the second end to the top of the receiving member.

Abstract: Presented herein is a novel sliding door system that that enables adjustment of at least two sliding doors relative to each other such that surfaces of the sliding doors create a substantially flush surface a support onto which the sliding door mechanism is mounted. The system includes at least one inner and outer sliding door slidably coupled to corresponding guide rails. The guide rail that is coupled to the outer sliding door is selectably moveable by a sliding door mechanism between a first and a second position. In the first position, a user can slide outer and inner sliding doors along said guide rails, whereas in the second position, a surface of the outer sliding door is substantially flush with a surface of said inner sliding door.

Abstract: An electronic sign with multiple direction positionable rear access doors, wherein sliding rear access doors are utilized to provide for access to the inner regions of the electronic sign while maintaining a thin profile. One or more of a plurality of sliding rear access doors can be disengaged from a back panel and urged rearwardly a minimal distance and then positioned laterally and unobtrusively along the length of a top track opposing a bottom track allowing the electronic sign to maintain a thin and unobtrusive profile.

Abstract: A storage bin assembly has a container base with a front, a back, a bottom, a perimeter side wall extending up from the bottom, and a storage space above the bottom within the side wall. A base lid is positioned over a top of the storage space. An access opening into the storage space is positioned near the front of the container base. A cover is selectively movable relative to the lid between a closed position closing off the access opening and two optional open positions. One of the positions is a rear position rearward of the access opening and the other of the positions is a front position forward of the access opening. Each optional open position exposes the storage space through the access opening.

Abstract: An outdoor furniture includes a main body with at least one compartment and one door to close the compartment. The main body has at least one transverse recess intended to hold an organ for moving the furniture. The recesses have longitudinal parallel and/or perpendicular axes to allow the outdoor furniture to be handled from at least one side of the main body or from at least two contiguous sides of the main body. The main body can be in one block made of molded plastic material.

In various exemplary non-limiting embodiments, the innovation provides multimedia furniture that includes structure for supporting an entertainment device, at least one outwardly facing rear section, wherein the at least one outwardly facing rear section includes an opening through which a cable is receivable and a cable management apparatus disposed on the outwardly facing rear section, the cable management apparatus includes at least two longitudinally extending cable guide members forming a channel therebetween.

Abstract: An organizing product that includes a storage compartment comprising front and rear walls each having inwardly and outwardly facing surfaces, a dry erase board attached to the outwardly facing surface of the storage compartment, and a calendar removably mounted in overlying relation to the dry erase board. A septum divides the storage compartment into upper and lower sections and adds rigidity to the organizing product. Abstract: An expandable wardrobe for location along an interior wall of a truck cab passengers pace is provided by incorporating into the cab an anchor wall having two vertical edges, the anchor wall being positionally fixed against the vehicle interior wall and providing a back wall to the wardrobe. A pair of opposed sidewalls are provided with each sidewall having two vertical edges, and each of the pair of opposed sidewalls being hingedly mounted along one vertical edge to a different vertical edge of the anchor wall, leaving one vertical edge of each of the opposed sidewalls free. A freewall is hingedly mounted between the free vertical edges of each of the pair of opposed sidewalls to enclose a variably sized space. A doorway through the free wall into the variably sized space provides access to the space.

The front has an open area through which the television, or another desired item, is exposed and accessible when the front is in a closed position. Abstract: An interconnect for engaging a rectifier module with a rectifier cabinet has a first portion which includes AC output contacts, DC input contacts, a cabinet data signal connector and sidewalls which define an enclosed space of the rectifier cabinet. A second portion of the interconnect includes DC output contacts, AC input contacts, a module pin data signal connector and a housing which encloses a rectifier unit. A guide member is mounted to one of the first and second portions of the interconnect. A guide member hole is included with the other of the first and second portions of the interconnect for engaging with the guide member to align the first portion of the interconnect with the second portion of the interconnect. A pair of guide pins are mounted to one of the data signal connectors for engaging within sockets of the other of the data signals connectors for aligning the data signal connectors.

The frameless sliding door system has two doors, each door having top and bottom bearing rail mechanism that permits the doors to move horizontally away and towards one another, but fixes the movement of the doors in other directions. Abstract: In a dispenser (1) a dispensing mechanism (18) and a take-up mechanism (19) are arranged on a single side of a removable unit (20) so that an energy storage driven by dispensing is also not discharged even when the cabinet is opened, that the take-up can also be set in motion even when the full, predetermined dispensing length has not been dispensed, that take-up is possible both with and without timing control or the dispensing length can be limited and that a precisely limited return of the toweling loop, opposing the take-up, is possible at the soiled side, as a result of which highly versatile functions materialize for a compact configuration.

Abstract: In order to couple and fix a first chassis and a second chassis, the first chassis is positioned relative to the second chassis. Then, coupling members are inserted into pairs of first and second coupling grooves, respectively. The first chassis has the first coupling grooves provided in upper portions of the first chassis and extending from a front wall along side walls, respectively, and the second chassis having second coupling grooves provided in lower portions of the second chassis and extending from a front wall along side walls, respectively. Finally, the coupling members are fixed to both of the first chassis and the second chassis.

Abstract: An effective connector mechanism is described which allows modules (10, 12) to be easily and reliably connected and disconnected. This connector mechanism includes a coordinated arrangement of guide plates (28, 54) featuring mating guide rails (56) and U-shaped channels (32) along with matched sets of tapered pins (38, 40) with tapered slots (58, 59). The pins and slots are "tapered" in the sense that the pins have a slanted surface (52) on the shank (44) directly underneath the head (42) which urges the guide plate surface adjoining the slot downward after engagement and the slots have a slanted edge (66) at their closed end (62) which maintains contact with the pin after engagement. When mated together, the rails, U-shaped channels, pins and slots lock the modules into engagement in virtually every direction.

Abstract: A drawer slide which forms a side wall of a drawer has outwardly curving holding devices in the form of a first shoulder projection with a tab and a second shoulder projection offset to one another in a back wall area of the drawer slide which engage in corresponding bore holes of a back wall and secure the back wall against shifting.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable laptop computer cart having a slidable desktop movable between a closed, retracted position and an open position which exposes a hidden bin/storage area underneath. The cart is mounted on casters or wheels for easy movement. Additionally, with the desktop in the retracted position, the bin is completely hidden from view allowing the cart to be utilized as a conventional end table or the like. The laptop computer cart is particularly well adapted for use with a laptop computer cart or video game entertainment system while the user is seated upon a couch or sofa.

Abstract: A drawer construction set includes two metal drawer frames, each having a rear end thereof a flange extending inwardly. The flange has an upwardly open slot and a lower slot. A metal drawer rear wall has at opposite ends thereof respective bent webs, each having an upper hook and a lower positioning lug. The hooks of the rear wall are fittable into the upwardly open upper slots of the drawer frames to suspend the rear wall therefrom. The positioning lugs of the rear wall then are fittable into the lower slots of the drawer frames, to prevent vertical displacement of the rear wall relative thereto.

Abstract: A seating unit comprises a base that includes a seat portion and a drawer cavity therebeneath. The base includes a pair of support rails on opposite sides of the drawer cavity. A drawer fits within the cavity and comprises a generally horizontal floor and a pair of generally upright side walls of a predetermined thickness integrally formed with the floor. Each of the side walls comprises an upright portion extending upwardly a predetermined height from the floor, a ramped portion having a predetermined width and slope angle formed integrally with the upright portion and sloping upwardly and inwardly therefrom, a recessed portion attached above and formed integrally with the ramped portion, and an outwardly-projecting lip attached above and formed integrally with the recessed portion. The recessed portion extends the horizontal length of the side wall. The lip has a free end projecting outwardly from its corresponding upright wall portion.

The cabinet is interiorly arranged for suitable storage and use of a personal computer and associated equipment such as a printer, TV monitor and software. A retractable front door is provided. The door may be securely locked when the computer equipment is not in use. The door retracts and is storable beneath the cabinet when the computer equipment is in use.

Abstract: Two different type toners are packaged in a cartridge having reversible parts. Reversal of the parts, as the two different toners are packaged, insures use of the correct toner in the correct one of two different electrophotographic reproduction devices.

Abstract: A stand is provided for supporting a printer for a computer, or word processor, or the like, which provides for feeding sheet or web stock from plurality of separate storage boxes or containers. A printer is supported on the top shelf of the stand. The stand stores boxes or containers of printing sheet or web stock on continuous form on two lower shelves thereof and feeds the continuous strip material alternately from the boxes or containers on the shelves as required by the printer. The top shelf has a plurality of guide slots, one for each of the boxes or containers of printing stock. A plurality of guide plates are provided in association with respective ones of said guide slots and in association with the intermediate shelf to guide printing stock from said boxes or containers to the printer. The upper ends of the printing stock not in use are folded over the ends of the guide plates extending above the top shelf.

Abstract: A drawer slide assembly for supporting a drawer to slide open and closed in an opening in a cabinet frame includes an elongated upper member extending longitudinally of the drawer and secured to the latter and a parallel lower member spaced below the upper member and secured to the frame. A pair of rollers are journaled side by side on the upper member near the rear thereof and engage track sections formed on the lower member. Similarly, a second pair of rollers are journaled on the lower member near the front thereof and engage track sections formed on the upper member. The rollers are given a short axial profile while having effective diameters greater than their actual diameters by forming the rollers with surfaces which are inclined at acute angles relative to the roller axes and the associated track sections are inclined at similar angles.

Abstract: A set of four longitudinal, four vertical and four cross bars are secured together to form a three dimensional open frame of a storage unit capable of being closed to a box-like structure by a plurality of flat panels. The longitudinal bars each have a longitudinal T-shaped rib and a T-shaped, longitudinal recess, capable of slideably receiving the rib of an adjacent frame so that a plurality of frames may be arranged and stacked to form a self sustaining structure from which one or more frames or storage units may be slideably removed without disturbance to the remaining structure and units.

Abstract: A housing for a self-supporting interior structure of electrical or electronic apparatus has a front panel and a casing formed of two U-shaped casing members detachably connected with one another via side spacing members. The side spacing members are formed such that lateral depressions extend inwardly from the side spacing members and extend along the depth of the apparatus for accommodating guide elements such that the housing containing the apparatus will slide into a rack. Use of such depressions permits close vertical spacing of adjacent apparatus housings in a rack and also functions as a handle for transporting individual housings.

Abstract: A withdrawal guide for drawers or the like, where the drawer has two external sides, for use in a fixed structure, the latter having two internal sides, includes two support rails disposed on each of the fixed structure sides, respectively, two guide rails disposed on the external sides of the drawer, respectively, and two mobile units. Each mobile unit includes at least two rollers; each of the rollers are supported between a corresponding guide and support rail for taking up vertical forces. Each support rail has a movable track, and each movable track has a withdrawal stop for the mobile unit, and is formed with a cut-out. Each mobile unit is formed with at least one controllable stop, and the stop may be engaged with the cut-out in the movable track, when the drawer is pulled out from the fixed structure for securing the mobile unit in the inward-movable direction of the withdrawal guide.

Abstract: A combination home stereo entertainment center and bar includes slidable supports for the stereo system to provide access to the stereo components from an open rear bar section. The system is supported independently of the bar itself to prevent motion of the bar from being transmitted to the stereo system. Rollable supports are provided to maintain the stereo system level while it is in a withdrawn position relative to the bar. A window may be provided in the front of the bar for viewing and highlighting the stereo system.

Abstract: A display fixture is disclosed which has a rectangular metal front frame, a pair of side walls, a brace interconnecting the side walls at the rear, and a series of drawers fitted into the front frame. The drawers are supported solely from roller brackets attached to the front frame in such a manner that the drawers are cantilevered from the brackets in both the open and closed position of the drawers. The drawers each comprise a rectangular frame of extruded elements into which are fitted bottom, side, front and rear wall boards.
