Abstract: A data storage subsystem is configured to mount within a rack mount cabinet. The data storage subsystem includes a housing configured to mount to a set of vertical rails of the rack mount cabinet, a set of circuit boards configured to install in a vertically aligned manner within the housing to define a set of vertically oriented channels within a central space defined by the set of vertical rails of the rack mount cabinet, and a fan assembly configured to mount to the set of vertical rails in a position above the housing to generate a vertical air stream through the set of vertically oriented channels and to exhaust the vertical air stream to an external location above the rack mount cabinet. The vertical air stream enables robust heat removal from the set of circuit boards even if the rack mount cabinet does not reside in a cold-isle environment.

Abstract: The present invention is a storage device ideally suited for storing a ladder or any elongated object. The storage device of the present invention comprises an elongated storage box having a front wall, rear wall, bottom wall, top wall and a pair of side walls forming a box assembly having an interior storage area. Located on the lower wall and extending beyond each side wall is a flange member that forms an inherent lip. Apertures extend though the flange and are adapted to receive conventional securing devices. This will allow for the device to be secured to any desired object, such the bed of a truck. The front wall is angled for reducing when resistance when the device is secure to a vehicle and when the vehicle is in motion. At least one additional storage compartment can be secured to any wall of the storage box for added storage capability.

Abstract: A swinging bin storage system is disclosed. The system has a cabinet with an open front, with an upper track and a lower track adjacent to its open front, and bins located within the cabinet portion. Each bin has a pivot that permit the bin to laterally slide in the upper track and lower track and pivot out of the cabinet when a user wishes to open the cabinet, and a handle on a front wall of the bin, which handle activates a catch which is adapted to releasably slide within one of the upper and lower tracks of the cabinet.

Abstract: A drawer assembly includes a drawer having a bottom wall, first and second opposing end walls, and first and second opposing side walls. The end and side walls cooperate to define an open top for receiving and removing contents. First and second longitudinal top rails are formed with respective first and second side walls. A removable lid covers the open top of the drawer in a first assembly configuration. The lid has first and second opposing major surfaces, first and second opposing end edges, and first and second opposing side edges. The side edges of the lid include respective longitudinal channels adapted for receiving the longitudinal top rails of the drawer to slide the lid over the open top. An indent is formed with at least one of the first and second longitudinal top rails of the drawer. A detent is formed with at least one of the first and second longitudinal channels of the lid.

Abstract: A mounting arrangement for mounting a door or other element to an article of furniture using an existing slide mechanism of the type known for use in drawers, wherein the slide mechanism is hidden from view when the door or other element is in both a closed and in an open position to enhance the aesthetic design of the article of furniture. The slide mechanism is mounted to a rear or interior surface of the article of furniture, and a bracket connects the slide mechanism to a door or other element which is disposed adjacent a front face of the article of furniture. In this manner, the slide mechanism and bracket are hidden from view regardless of the position of the door or other element. In one embodiment, a cabinet with a door connected thereto by hidden slides is provided, and in another embodiment, a display board with covers connected thereto by hidden slides is provided.

Abstract: The invention relates to an object storage station having a front area for loading the objects, a back, and two sidewalls arranged on opposite sides, and having object holding rails with support surfaces that are arranged in pairs on opposite sides and extend substantially horizontally along the sidewalls in the interior of the object storage station. The invention is characterized in that the sidewalls have a plurality of identical, horizontally extending openings, which are arranged one above the other in the two sidewalls in identical number and position and always spaced at an identical distance from adjacent openings. The number of the openings in each sidewall corresponds to the number of the object holding rails of the sidewall and each of the openings has the same distance from the respectively closest object holding rail. The invention furthermore relates to a detachable mounting of the holding rails.

Abstract: A substrate for packaging a storage or server system may include one or more sections of the substrate configured to hold a two-dimensional array of disk drives. Another section of this substrate may be configured to hold circuitry for accessing the array of disk drives. This circuitry may include one or more processors. The substrate also includes a first plurality of ribs positioned in the first access of the substrate. The first plurality of ribs separate the sections from one another. The section configured to hold the control circuitry may also be configured to hold one or more power supplies for supplying power to the array of disk drives and control circuitry. This section, as well as other sections, may be divided in two by one or more additional ribs in a transverse direction. The substrate may be configured to be mounted in a cage or rack and may include an edge connector at one edge of the substrate to provide electrical connectivity to a back plane in the cage or rack.

Abstract: A shelf unit for use in an electronic equipment rack, comprises an electronic equipment structure for holding electronic equipment. An auxiliary equipment structure, such as a fiber management plate, is provided for holding auxiliary equipment. A fan tray is movable in and out of a corresponding tray support structure forming part of the shelf unit. The tray support structure is configured such that when the associated fan tray is pushed in, the fan tray extends in a plane behind the auxiliary equipment structure, but when pulled out the fan tray drops down to clear the auxiliary equipment structure and provide access to the fan in the tray.

Abstract: A cassette for building up drawer cabinets and a drawer included in the cassette. In order to carry and guide the drawer inside the cassette, a rail made of plastic is arranged on each side of the cassette, the rail being mountable on a lower flange projecting inwards from each side wall of the cassette. From the top side of the rail, a longitudinal ridge protrudes, which is distanced from an outside pressable against the side wall of the cassette with a distance which in the main corresponds to half the difference between the width of the cassette and the width of the drawer, and the rail at opposite end portions having similar ramp surfaces, which are oblique in the direction upwards/inwards from the ends of the rail towards the plane top side of the rail. In this way, one and the same rail is, in a universal way, mountable either to the right or to the left in the cassette.

Abstract: An adjustable system for mounting data storage chassis allows chassis of differing depths to be mounted to a single set of rack mount posts. The front face of the chassis is attached to two front posts. One or more rails are then slidably inserted into the chassis and attached a corresponding number of rear posts. In one embodiment, two narrow, elongated rails are slidably adjusted into guide paths each comprising two, open and opposing brackets affixed internally to the chassis. The rails are then attached to two corresponding rear posts. In another embodiment, a single, wide rail is slidably adjusted into a single guide path at the bottom of the chassis and is then attached to one of the rear posts.

Each connecting piece is a small plate with at least one insertion portion having holes for engaging with the assembling pieces.

Abstract: A sterilization, transporting and storage container tray assembly for a surgical instrument kit comprises a plurality of trays for accommodating surgical instruments, and a rack for holding the trays in a stacked arrangement. The trays are slidably, removably mounted in the rack, and are accessible from the side of the rack. A removable cap is provided for locking the trays in position in the rack, i.e. for transportation, sterilization and storage.

Abstract: A retrofit battery cabinet for telecommunications equipment. A 48 volt DC or other battery power supply is held in a retrofit battery cabinet to provide a retrofittable battery power supply to telecommunications cabinets. Dual and separately operable battery trays provide a weight-bearing capacity of more than 500 pounds each. The battery trays extend through an open front end of a housing be sealed by a removable door. The weight load exerted by the retrofit battery cabinet is supported by the concrete or other pad providing ultimate support to the entire configured assembly, and not by the associated telecommunications equipment cabinet. Outriggers, mounting brackets, and nesting of the housing beneath the telecommunications cabinet serve to secure the retrofit battery cabinet in place, ensuring the electrical connection between the batteries and the telecommunications equipment without direct attachment of the retrofit battery cabinet to the telecommunications cabinet support columns.

A second pair of support rods are cooperative with the rack members to enable mounting on the sidewall with the rack members spaced from the sidewall so as to cooperate with fixed rack members on a laterally opposite upstanding sidewall of the oven chamber to support trays and pans of shorter lateral width.

Abstract: A system that allows for easy assembly of ready-to-assemble ("RTA") furniture without using any tools or other supplemental hardware is disclosed. A drawer slide support is provided with substantially cylindrically shaped, ribbed bushings connected to the support. The support includes a sliding portion mounted to a first member of a piece of furniture, such as a drawer or shelf. A second member of furniture, such as an upright panel, is provided with openings into which the bushings may be easily press-fitted, but not easily removed. The support may thus be attached with the bushings to the second member of furniture so that the first and second members of furniture are assembled together without using tools, supplemental hardware, or excessive force.
