Abstract: A radio-frequency (RF) heating system may include a removable drawer, which may be inserted under a fixed shelf of the RF heating system to form an enclosed cavity. The drawer may include conductive channels or side rails that may interface with the shelf of the defrosting system in order to electrically couple the drawer to the RF heating system. The drawer may include an electrode that is electrically coupled to ground or to a RF signal source when the drawer is inserted beneath the shelf. The shelf may include selectable electrodes of varying sizes. The RF heating system may use identification circuitry to recognize the type of drawer that has been inserted beneath the shelf. RF energy may be applied to the electrode of the drawer or the shelf to heat a load in the enclosed cavity.

Multiple different positions along the vertical direction can be made available for selection by a user of the appliance. Abstract: A shelf support assembly is provided that may be used with an oven appliance having protrusions along the walls of the cabinet for suspending the shelf support assembly therebetween. The articulation mechanism may operate without the use of an additional piece and may be made only with a stamping on the counter-door itself of the household appliance. The configuration of the articulation mechanism may simplify its fabrication and assembly, and may reduce or eliminate the need for use of accessories and tools for the assembly processes, simplifying construction.

According to the invention, both the front and the rear retaining element have respective first and second clip-type retaining sections, the first partially encompassing the longitudinal extension of a bar and the second partially encompassing the angled end regions of said bar. The retaining section of the rear retaining element is open towards the rear of the guide rail, allowing the rail with its rapid fixing device to be pushed and fixed onto one of the bars from the front of the grid-type side part.

The association between the supporting device and the side bar is able to provide mechanical support to the shelf. The mechanism also comprises a pivoting arm provided with at least one first end which is connected articulatedly to the shelf and a second end connected articulatedly to the supporting device, which associates the shelf to the supporting device. The pivoting arm is able to move angularly so as to allow the displacement of the shelf in relation to the supporting device.

Indicia on one of the shelves follows the contour of one of the door shelves to indicate approximately the shelf space occupied by an adjacent door shelf and thus where items can be set without interfering with the closure of the door. The refrigeration unit also includes a cam assembly at the lower door hinge which biases the door closed when open approximately 35 degrees or less. The lateral frames of the chassis assembly structure are provided with a rotary base for horizontal rotation an upper positioning rod is mounted at the top between lateral frames. An upper positioning rod is combined, thus providing a major chassis structure. The present invention enables a user to assemble a frame of a chassis featuring time-saving and convenient assembly with greater efficiency.

One rack can be mounted to the door panel, and one or more follower racks can be extended and retracted by movement of the door panel mounted rack, or by independent manual movement thereof. Two or more racks can be pulled out from the cabinet in a staggered or cascading fashion in which an upper rack extends from the cabinet to a lesser extent than a next lower rack to provide access to the bottles on each rack. The door panels can be made of a glass thermopane allowing visual inspection of the contents inside the cabinet. The cabinet can be cooled by a refrigeration system having two evaporators, which provide two independent cooling zones, one for each pull-out assembly. A capacitance-operated control can be provided under the glass front of one door panel for controlling the temperature zones inside the cabinet.
