Abstract: A cover apparatus that provides a cover member having a recessed cavity having four sidewalls and a bottom wall. An audio system is hingedly mounted on a sidewall of the recessed cavity and is movable between a closed position, wherein the audio system lies flat on the bottom wall within the recessed cavity and an open position, wherein the audio system extends outwardly from the recessed cavity. A cover panel is also hingedly mounted on an opposite sidewall of the recessed cavity and is movable between a closed position, wherein the cover panel closes the recessed cavity and lies flat on the audio system and an open position, wherein the cover panel extends outwardly from the recessed cavity. The audio system and cover panel are maintained in an open and upright position by a support stand.

Included is a bracket having two outwardly extending flanges positionable in a card channel on the front of a store shelf, outwardly extending mounts and a fascia mounted thereto, the fascia including a surface adapted to receive a label appropriate for the goods displayed, a stop to prevent containers from being pushed off the shelf, and opposed holes. Elongated rails extend rearward of the bracket and include outwardly extending forward terminations to permit the rails to be pinched together for alignment with and insertion into the holes in the bracket to join the bracket and rails, facilitating selective detachment of the rails from the bracket, an inner, lower pair of rails on which the containers may be supported, a first outer, upper pair for engaging the sides of the containers, and a second upper pair of rails to restrain tipping of the glass containers.

When the knob is pushed into the body through the opening, the knob is coupled with the operating shaft of the fader with respect to the rotating direction and axial direction of the knob.

The dispenser comprises a housing having an opening in its top, a carriage for supporting a generally vertical stack of the articles, mechanism for biasing the carriage vertically upwardly in the housing to dispense the articles from the top of the housing, a plurality of elongate guide members in the housing, and apparatus for mounting the guide members. The carriage is moveable within the housing along a generally vertical central axis of the housing. The guide members are spaced about the periphery of the carriage for retaining the articles in a generally vertical stack. Each guide member has a vertically extending guide surface for slideably abutting marginal edge portions of the articles stacked on the carriage.

Abstract: Apparatus for storing and dispensing loaves of sliced bread in plastic wrappers in sanitary condition is simple, easy to operate and keeps the bread from drying out in storage. The bread is stored in a substantially closed tubular container with an opening for removing bread slices. A hinged lid closes to seal the opening to prevent entry of air into the bread wrapper in the storage condition, and opens to permit removal of the bread slice by slice in the dispensing condition. The open end of the wrapper is positioned outside the container on the outside of the tubing and is grasped and moved for forcing the loaf of bread slice by slice toward the opening for dispensing.

Abstract: An anti-theft mounting for radios, stereos and similar audio equipment used in motor vehicles has several features to discourage and possibly prevent the theft of the equipment. The audio equipment is mounted within an opening in a dash of a motor vehicle. The equipment is partially mounted within a housing which moves forward so that a front of the equipment extends out of the opening when the equipment is desired to be used and moves rearward when the equipment is not desired to be used. When the equipment is in the rearward rest position, a door closes the opening. When the equipment is desired to be operated, the door opens and the equipment protrudes at least partially from the opening for easy access. The opening is sized so that the audio equipment will fit snugly within the opening but the housing will not. The mounting has control means connected to an ignition of the motor vehicle so that when the motor vehicle is operating, the equipment will be in the forward operating position.

Abstract: A mechanism for use in counterbalancing a shelf or the like incident to vertical movement thereof along a trackway featuring a linkage assembly and coupling assemblies for effecting a relatively large displacement of the shelf incident to a relatively small displacement of a shelf counterbalance spring. The shelf is mounted on the trackway by followers carrying a manual brake releasably engageable with the trackway.

Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for the support of an accessory unit within the defined space of a storage area. The storage area is preferably a floor-mounted console receptacle or a dashboard receptacle commonly found within the seating compartment of an automobile. The support structure provides a mounting plate that supports a radio telephone unit within the receptacle by spanning the space separating side walls of the receptacle. Engaging Velcro attachment elements mounted upon both side flanges of the mounting plate and the receptacle side walls permits the mounting plate supporting the radio telephone unit to be easily installed to removed within the receptacle. The use of Velcro elements to removably install the mounting plate within the receptacle eliminates the need for fastening screws, nuts and bolts, or rivets to mount a support structure within the storage area.

Abstract: A movable display assembly is incorporated in the car stereo for adjusting the screen viewing angle of the LCD. The movable display assembly comprises a semi-spherical display means and a guide shaft for guiding the display means in any direction within a semi-circular cavity which is formed in the forwardly opening of the front panel of the car stereo. The semi-spherical display means includes a convex rear wall and an LCD constituting the front face of the display means. The guide shaft extends horizontally from the rear face of the display means and is loosely fitted in an opening formed in the cavity. A frictional means is provided in order to hold the movable display means in place.

The stack of forms is positioned in the enclosure between a moveable plate and the front portion of the device, the rear portion extending inwardly from the top toward the bottom portion of the device. After the forms are positioned between the front member and the moveable plate member, force exerting means are positioned between the rear portion of the device and the moveable plate member.

The free edges of the top and front covers inter-engage to form a closure seam when the covers are closed, and moisture-impeding edge-sealing formations along the openings and one of the free edges forming the seam seal the covers to the housing and to each other when closed.

Abstract: A package and a method for making the package for mounting a sound system on a motorcycle, which is easily attached and detached from the motorcycle is disclosed. The components of the sound system are generally surrounded by a cushioning filler and enclosed in a housing formed of a durable flexible fabric. The package is attached to the motorcycle by the magnetic force provided by magnets mounted in the bottom of the housing.

This device can also be coupled to household furniture and panels for concealing apparatus such as televisions, video reproducers-recorders, musical equipments, etc.

Abstract: Mounting base for the transceiver of a mobile telephone for use in vehicles, the transceiver having a rigid boxlike enclosure. The mounting base (10) comprises a baseboard (12) having a main surface (20) and at least four sides (21, 22, 23, 24), at least three resilient brackets (14, 14', 14") extending from the sides of the baseboard. The brackets (14, 14', 14") have clips (16, 16', 16") at their free ends pointing inwardly over the baseboard. For mounting, the transceiver enclosure (110) is placed against the brackets and the transceiver bottom plate (112) against the baseboard (12) so that the bracket clips tightly snap on the transceiver upper edges. Pins (30) and recesses (40) cooperate with corresponding recesses and supports in the enclosure preventing the transceiver enclosure form moving relative the baseboard. The mounting base (10) is well suited for automatic production.

Specifically after being pushed in the dashboard, the electronic apparatus can be locked by rotating and lowering its handle. The electronic apparatus can be unlocked by rotating and raising its handle, and then the electronic apparatus is ready for withdrawal from the dashboard.

Abstract: The present invention provides a portable food and beverage cooler with an integral audio receiver, preferably and AM/FM radio receiver. The cooler has an outer shell, an intermediate insulation layer, an inner shell, a partially removable top with handle for carrying cooler, and an inner compartment enclosed by four adjoining walls for holding food and beverages. The audio receiver includes a plurality of components including the receiver unit, one or more speakers, a power source battery, receptacle for earphones, jack separately mounted in compartments provided in one or more of the walls, with components in the wiring means connecting the audio insulation layer. Abstract: A self-leveling dispenser provides a rack supporting a stack of trays within a frame. A reversible motor drivably connected to spiral shafts mounted at the corners of the frame rotates the shafts to provide upward or downward movement of the rack, which is supported on the spiral shafts by threaded sleeves. An upper sensor mounted to the frame is operably connected to the motor to move the rack downward upon detecting a tray at an upper horizontal level above a desired height. A lower sensor mounted to the frame is operably connected to the motor to raise the rack upon sensing the absence of a tray at a lower horizontal level below the desired height. The sensors cooperate to automatically and continuously reposition an uppermost portion of a top tray in the stack at the desired height with respect to the frame, thereby to facilitate dispensing of dishes or food products.

Abstract: A merchandiser assembly is provided for storing and displaying products in a shelf-like manner. The merchandiser assembly greatly facilitates stock rotation, is self-facing, and automatically maintains an organized and properly positioned stock of products. A product tray is slidably mounted with respect to a support member, and a product follower that is slidably mounted with respect to the product is limited in the extent of its forward movement in order to provide free space for the refilling of the merchandiser assembly with fresh products when the merchandiser assembly is in a fill mode.

Abstract: An in-dash radio installation kit, for installing a radio to a vehicle dash, comprises:(a) a box-like molded plastic frame including walls comprising end walls and a main front panel interconnecting the end walls,(b) the end walls having re-entrant recesses formed therein, with inner surface that are forwardly elongated,(c) and through openings in the end walls for reception of connectors that connect the end walls to the radio chassis received between the end walls, with connector heads retained in the recesses and connector shanks passing through the openings. Brackets are attachable to the end walls via holes in the end walls above, arranged in rows above and below the re-entrant recesses, so that the brackets vertically bridge the re-entrant recesses and are selectively attachable to the end walls, forwardly and rearwardly.

Abstract: An apparatus designed to house and secure a video cassette recorder wherein said apparatus can be accessed completely through only one major entrance which can be protected by operable doors, which can be secured by locking mechanisms and thereby prohibit any undesirable entry. The apparatus is used to house and secure any VCR such that once a video cassette recorder is placed inside said apparatus, the doors closed and locked, access to the video recorder becomes prohibited. The apparatus allows for normal usage of a VCR while at the same time prevents unwanted tampering to the video recorder.

Abstract: The device consists of a frame defining a receptacle for an article to be normally displayed in a first position, structure on the frame for inhibiting grasping by a purchaser of an article in the first position, a trigger movable relative to the frame between a normal position and a release position for moving an article from the first position relative to the frame to a removal position as an incident of movement of the trigger from the normal position to the release position, and structure responsive to movement of the trigger from the normal position to the release position for giving a sensory indication that the trigger has been moved from the normal position to the release position and that resultingly an article has been situated in the removal position. With an article in the removal position, the article can be readily grasped by a purchaser for withdrawal of that article from the receptacle.
