Abstract: A storage device, which is adapted to hang a plurality of disc holders each having two opposite hook members, includes a casing having two lateral walls extending upwardly and respectively from two opposite lateral ends of a bottom wall, a top wall interconnecting top ends of the lateral walls, and at least one pair of horizontal rails projecting inwardly and respectively from inner surfaces of the lateral walls. At least one drawer is disposed in the casing, and is slidable along the rails. The drawer includes a drawer frame having two opposite lateral plates, and two slides provided respectively on outer surfaces of the lateral plates to engage slidably and respectively the rails. Each lateral plate has a retainer projecting inwardly from an inner surface thereof and adapted to engage one hook member of each disc holder.
Abstract: A device (1) for storing a plurality of protective cases (2) on a holding element (11). The protective cases (2) have an insertion opening (5) on one end face (4) for inserting flat information carriers (3), particularly CDs or DVDs, and a second face (16) resting at least partially on the holding element (11). To simplify the storage of the protective cases (2) and the removal or insertion of the information carriers (3), the holding element (11) has a tab (15) in an edge area, which engages with a recess (17) in the second face (16) of the protective cases (2), such that a corresponding protective case (2) can be pivoted from a storage position (9) into a removal position (10). In the removal position (10) the information carrier (3) can be removed from the protective case (2) without the necessity of detaching the protective case (2) from the holding element (11).
Abstract: A storage unit for disks includes a first end member, a second end member disposed in a parallel relationship with respect to the first end member. An extension mechanism having a series of interconnected members is connected between the first and second end members and co-operates with them to maintain the parallel interrelationship as the members are moved toward or away from one another. A connected array of pockets extends between the end members. Opposite end ones of the pockets are attached to a respective one of the end members. Each pocket is adapted to receive at least a portion of a disk. There are more pockets than there are interconnected members in the extension mechanism.
Abstract: A furniture piece which is both functional and aesthetically pleasing includes a storage compartment for storing compact disks, videotape cassettes and the like. The storage compartment includes fixed and adjustable dividers. The storage compartment is adapted to be concealed from view by means of a sliding top which is integrated into the furniture piece thereby to produce an uncluttered appearance as well as easy access to the contents of the storage compartment.
Abstract: An apparatus for supporting multimedia packages employs a corrugated support having at least one crowned surface for supporting the multimedia packages from below in a closely spaced side-by-side configuration. A pair of front and rear retainers confine the series of packages therebetween. The crowned surface includes a series of curved projections for defining a series of equally spaced apart notches disposed at intersections between adjacent ones of the projections to receive corner portions of the packages for supporting them in an inclined position and for enabling each of the supported packages to be repositioned to another one of said notches so that the packages can be flipped between forwardly and rearwardly inclined positions.
