Trammel Patents (Class 33/203.2)
  • Patent number: 11820457
Abstract: A suspension assembly for a cycle includes a link and an indicator having a central opening. The indicator includes a first retention feature. A pivot assembly is disposed in the link. The pivot assembly includes a second retention feature. The first retention feature and the second retention feature cooperate to axially retain the indicator on the pivot assembly while allowing rotational movement between the indicator and the pivot assembly when a force threshold is exceeded.

  • Patent number: 9227546
Abstract: An apparatus for a hook lift jib which is easily movable between an extended position and a retracted position to make the applications for use of this apparatus more universal since it is capable of being used for lifting and handling of refuse containers of various sizes. The jib member can be retained in the extended position by the placement of two locking pins extending therethrough or it can be capable of floating or automated self movement between the extended and retracted position responsive to removal of one of the pin members. The hook lift jib apparatus is designed to be particularly useful handling containers of different sizes particularly useful with containers wherein the container grip bar is between 54 inches and 61 inches from the adjacent ground surface.

  • Patent number: 7428779
Abstract: A tool (10) and method for measuring endplay between an axle shaft (36) and an axle hub (34) of an axle assembly. A mounting plate (22) is fastened to the hub, and one end of a through-rod (16) whose ends protrude from opposite ends of a housing (14) of a fluid-operated device (12) is fastened to the axle shaft by applying an external force to the other end of the through-rod while fluid is not operating the fluid-operated device. With the mounting adapter and the through-rod secured as described, fluid is delivered to the fluid-operated device to move the through-rod relative to the housing, and the resulting relative movement between the through-rod and the housing is measured by a measuring device (48).
