The orientation of the housing is adjusted by pivoting the housing around the fastener-receiving hole so that a marked level position of the tool corresponds to the lowest position of the convex interior base. The mounting piece is then mounted fixedly to the shoe.

    Abstract: An auxiliary handle with a laser alignment device for drills comprises a grip portion for grasping, an opened collar which can be engaged with shoulder of the drill, and a clamp means for locking or loosing the opened collar. The auxiliary handle also comprises a first laser generator which can project a fanned planar laser beam, a battery pack which can be used to power the first laser generator, and a switch for turning on or turning off the first laser generator, the fanned laser beam which is projected by the first laser generator is in alignment with the central axis of the opened collar. Such that the fanned laser beam is in alignment with the central axis of the chuck when the auxiliary handle is mounted on the drill.

The adjustment system allows the shooter to adjust the scope's point of aim to coincide with a bullet's point of impact at a target. Such adjustment can be performed either by the shooter. Alternatively, such adjustment could be performed by a processor configured to adjust the point of aim based on a ballistic parameter associated with the bullet or the shooting environment. The adjustment system allows such processor-determined adjustments to be effected in a quick manner.

    Abstract: The invention is a new building tool for leveling a flat surface while removing irregularities in the surface by sanding. The tool, named a “rasping level,” integrates into one instrument the functions of leveling and sanding a surface. The rasping level consists of a frame, levels positioned on the top surface of the frame, and sandpaper on the under surface (second surface) of the frame. Along the lengthwise edges of the top surface of the frame are “grippers” for holding and manipulating the tool. The frame and grippers are made of light weight but rigid material. The levels may be typical spirit levels that are used to measure the level and plumb of wall surfaces. Heavy grit sandpaper covers the under surface of the frame. The sandpaper is attached to the under surface of the frame by aerosol adhesive or semipermanent liquid adhesive. Worn-out sandpaper can be removed and replaced by fresh sandpaper as needed.
