Abstract: A device for measuring the level of the end surface of a pipe, comprising a body, a planar reference surface, and a retractable spring-loaded finger extendable through and below the planar reference surface to engage the inside surface of the pipe and secure the level in place. The level body may comprise an elongated body having an elongated chamber and an elongated reference plane, said plane comprising at least one reference surface and at least one opening to the chamber.

Abstract: A device and a method that aids in the leveling of intra-vascular catheters from the transducer to the patient for medical procedures takes the form of a small housing which encloses a strong resilient filament which is dispensed therefrom. A bubble level vial is fixedly mounted thereupon the housing. The device thereby provides a means to acquire the desired leveling pressure readings of the intra-vascular catheter with minimal amount of effort by attaching one (1) end of the filament there to the patient and the opposing end to the transducer. When finished, the filament is retracted and stored.

Abstract: A material dispensing apparatus with line level for conveniently storing and providing access to a line level within a material dispenser. The material dispensing apparatus with line level includes a shoulder having a receiver cavity, a first catch member and a second catch member attached to the shoulder within the receiver cavity, and a line level having a first nub and a second nub at opposing ends thereof. The nubs are catchably received within the catch members when the line level is positioned within the receiver cavity. An alternative embodiment utilizes the hooks of the line level to engage members extending inwardly from the receiver cavity.

The material dispensing apparatus with line level includes a handle structure formed for removably receiving the line level. The handle structure is preferably comprised of a handle post structure having a receiver slot for receiving the line level within. A plurality of first nubs extend inwardly from the walls of the receiver slot to selectively retain the line level within the receiver slot. A handle cover is removably attachable about the handle post structure for enclosing the handle post structure during usage of the material dispenser structure.

Abstract: A multipurpose retractable leveling device including a pair of side housings each having a generally rectangular configuration. A central level portion is positioned between the pair of side housings. The central level portion is defined by a rectangular housing with a vertically oriented spirit level and a horizontally oriented spirit level. A pair of strings have first ends secured to a first side housing with the strings extending through the central level portion with second ends of the pair of strings extending inwardly of a second side housing whereby the central level portion is slidably disposed on the pair of strings. A locking retractable spool is disposed within the second side housing for engaging the second ends of the pair of strings.

Abstract: A tape blade level that includes a housing that has an attaching means that secures the level to a tape measure blade. The attaching means includes an arcuate opening that conforms in shape to a typical tape measure blade. The opening is constructed in such a manner that the device can also be readily affixed to a string line. A liquid level indicator has a pair of closed end walls and is observable through the sight opening is slidably received in the housing. A line engaging retainer arrangement is slidable into an interference fit in each of the open end portions of the housing and is engageable with each of the closed end walls of the liquid level indicator for maintaining the position of the liquid level indicator relative to the sight opening in the housing.

Abstract: A gauge for determining the distance of break, on a surface of golf green for a properly putted golf ball moving from a given point toward a golf cup. The gauge includes a base having measure indica at each end thereof and a level indicating member on one edge thereof. A sighting element is pivotally secured with the base and includes measure indica pointing means at each end thereof. By selecting a given point from the golf cup and arranging the base so that the level indicating member indicates level and arranging the sighting element to be coplanar with the surface of the golf green at the golf cup, the indica pointing means will point to measure indica denoting the distance of break of the golf ball to the left or right of the cup.

Abstract: A line level made of two substantially identical halves molded from thermoplastic material. Each half has an internal surface in the shape of a part of a cylinder which co-operates with a like surface on the other half to receive an end of a level vial. The ends of each half are rectangular and a cylindrical level vial is sandwiched between the halves with its ends resting on the internal cylindrical surfaces. Each half has an outer rectangular surface and a pintle extending inwardly on one end and a hollow boss on the other end which receives the pintle on the other half.
