Abstract: A cutting tool sharpening fixture system and method of use is provided. More particularly, the cutting tool has a sharpening guide that is supportable at two points while sharpening and the cutting tool has an angle fixture. The angle fixture has a fence that is movable along a track channel to set an angle. The sharpening guide with wheels on two body portions are removable from the angle fixture.
Abstract: A guide device for cutting lap joints includes a frame and a rectilinear guide member, the frame having a Y-like shape and consisting of a removable top portion and a bottom portion forming a yoke therebetween at the upper portion of the Y-like frame. The lower portion of the Y-like frame has a guide portion and one side of the guide portion extends to be co-linear with one side of the yoke portion forming a first adjustable guide surface. The guide portion is provided with a guide way running longitudinally along the guide portion with a movable stopper provided so as to move along the guide surface as guided by the guide way. The movable stopper has a lockable member for locking the movable stopper in any desired position along said guide surface. The other side of the guide portion opposite to the guide surface forms an angle of 45 degrees with another contiguous side of the yoke portion and a fixed stopper is formed near the junction of the yoke portion and this other side of the guide portion.
Abstract: A support for steps, having the shape of a triangular corner plate to be installed one after the other along a stringer. The sides of this support are reinforced, horizontally and vertically by a 90 degree fold, to fix the steps and risers. The ends are wider and possess a number of fixing holes to provide more stability when fixed against a stringer. The horizontal side is ended by a projecting horizontal rule. The wide part of the vertical side is flanked by vertical graduations. The horizontal rule is set against a stringer at a desired step run and the vertical graduations are set against the stringer at a desired step rise. The horizontal rule overlaps the vertical graduations of the preceding support.
Abstract: An attachment for connection with an elongated carpenter's level for forming an enlarged squaring tool, the level having a central web portion with spaced apart bubble indicators and parallel flanges at opposite end edges of the web portions. The attachment has an elongated arm member of rigid material with a connector arm fixed to and extending from it at a right angle. The connector arm has an elongated slot means forming a pair of spaced apart connector members, each having a peripheral cross section similar to but slightly smaller than the cross section of pockets located on opposite sides of the level web portion so that the connector members can be moved axially into said level pockets to firmly, but temporarily, secure the attachment to the level.
Abstract: A scale holder is provided for securely retaining a scale to permit various measurements to be made. The scale holder includes orthogonally disposed major and minor planar walls on which the scale holder can be securely supported. The scale holder further includes a nonplanar support defined by intersecting generally planar support surfaces to permit the scale holder to be supported on an arcuate or irregular surface. A plurality of scale guides and slots are provided to selectively position a scale in orthogonal or parallel relationship to one or more of the walls of the scale holder. Clamps further are provided to retain the scale in selected position relative to the scale holder.

Abstract: A device and method for bagging thin flexible members such as a stack of tortillas having a curved pan for accepting and bending the stack of tortillas, a bagging head for opening and positioning a bag adjacent curved pan and an actuator for inserting the curved pan with the stack of tortillas thereon into the opened bag and transferring the bag with the tortillas therein onto a conveyor.
Abstract: A combined try square and protractor is structured to measure a right angle, to measure center of a pipe and to measure various angles therefrom.
Abstract: A square for plotting angles, parallels, and polygonal shapes on the circular surface of a cylindrical body. The square includes a pair of contact arms forming a right angle, and a center arm forming a bisector of the right angle. A protractor frame is slidably attached to the center arm, and a pointer is attached to the arc-shaped portion of the protractor. The square includes a separate attached straightedge parallel to the center arm, and movable in variable spaced relation thereto.
