Abstract: A hair grid measuring device comprises a thin, flexible body, a first side opposite a second side, a third side opposite a fourth side, a plurality of horizontal grid lines extending from the first side to the second side, and a plurality of vertical grid lines extending from the third side to the fourth side. The thin, flexible body also includes a plurality of apertures holding the device against a first individual's skin, ensuring stability and leverage, and easily bending the grid measuring device to the contours of the first individual's face, head, and body. A method for creating a custom hair style using the hair grid measuring device, accomplished either by hand or via a software application on an electronic device, that allows the first individual to obtain the hair design of a second individual, such as a celebrity, sports player, or actor, or any predetermined shape.
Abstract: A guide assembly useful in restraining the vertical writing excursions of those with impaired muscular control includes a generally orthogonal frame supporting one or more stretched elastic bands spaced adjacent the horizontal leg of the frame. The vertical leg is then used for alignment along the edge of the writing surface.

Abstract: Improved posterboard is formed from a rectangular posterboard having vertical side edges and horizontal top and bottom edges. Guide marking are applied to the posterbboard. The guide markings are visually perceptible at a writing distance away from the posterboard, and substantially imperceptible at a viewing distance length away from the posterboard.
Abstract: A guide for use by bookkeepers, accountants, auditors and the like in association with ledger sheets, journals, spread sheets and the like having informational indicia associated in horizontal rows and vertical columns to enable such information to be more accurately and easily read with less chance of error. The guide includes an L-shaped member having an elongated horizontal component and a shorter vertical component both of which have a longitudinally continuous transparent area delineated by beveled red lines with the area externally of the red lines being translucent with the width of the transparent area being substantially equal to the width of horizontal rows of indicia and the width of the vertical transparent area being substantially the same as the width of vertical columns of indicia. The juncture between the transparent areas is provided with a window to enable transcription of indicia on the underlying ledger sheet by inserting a writing instrument through the window.
Abstract: This invention is a drafting implement consisting of an interchangeable triangle and interchangeable circular disk carried rotatively on the triangle and both the triangle and circular disk each being imprinted and having measurement and drafting aids to make technical drawings and measurements.
Abstract: Magnetic devices are described which include a sheet of magnetic material having a relieved groove/ridge configuration, all the grooves and ridges being straight and parallel, and evenly spaced apart. Such devices can form part of apparatus for use in connection with a dry transfer sheet in assisting setting out a correctly spaced and aligned legend on a desired receptor surface. The apparatus can comprise a base member which, e.g. may be attachable to a designed receptor surface and a sheet-holder member. The sheet-holder member can consist of a bar to which a sheet of dry transfer material may be attached. One side of the bar of the sheet-holder member has a rib which may engage in the base member in one of the parallel grooves therein. The lateral spacing of the parallel grooves and the vertical spacing of lines of letters on the dry transfer sheet correspond to ensure accurate horizontal alignment of letters transferred from different rows on the transfer sheet to the final receptor.
Abstract: A lettering scale for regulating the width and spacing between letters, which is used in conjunction with a straight edge guide is provided, and includes a generally planar, transparent member having first and second straight edges disposed in perpendicular relationship. A plurality of equally spaced parallel, visible guidelines are provided on the transparent member and are disposed in parallel relationship with the first straight edge. The spacing between the first straight edge and the nearest visible guideline of the array is equal to the spacing between each guideline of the array. After the drawing of horizontal guidelines, the width and spacing between letters can be regulated by the drawing of guide points, using the lettering scale.
