With Particular Shape And/or Type Of Core Patents (Class 334/76)
  • Patent number: 9882506
Abstract: A multiple inductive component (100) comprises:—a cylindrical drum core component (120) with at least two axially spaced circumferential grooves (131, 132) in its cylindrical outer surface (121), a separation disc portion (111) between said two circumferential grooves and two outer disc portions (112, 113) at the sides of the said two circumferential grooves, respectively, directed away from the separation disc portion;—at least one first winding (141) arranged in a first one (131) of said grooves;—at least one second winding (142) arranged in a second one (132) of said grooves;—a cylindrical shell core component (150) arranged coaxially around the cylindrical drum core component;—two outer air gaps (162, 163) between the cylindrical shell core component and said two outer disc portions, respectively. The separation disc portion is magnetically short circuited with the cylindrical shell core component.

  • Patent number: 4163202
Abstract: A tuning apparatus and a method of producing the same. The tuning apparatus comprises a base having a recess for receiving a capacitor therein, and coils mounted on the base, wherein the front ends of the comb teeth of two comb-shaped formed parts obtained by press-working an electrically conductive metal sheet are received in the recess and are fixed in position by pouring resin into the recess, the roots of the comb teeth of the comb-shaped formed parts being then severed, thereby separating the comb teeth from each other to provide independent external terminals. The comb teeth include connector comb teeth whose ends are directly connected to the capacitor terminals, and a presser tooth which urges the capacitor toward the connector comb teeth.

  • Patent number: 3944952
Abstract: A limited tuning range tuning unit useable with a television tuner of the turret type includes a user tunable coil having a tuning slug extending from an end of the tuning unit. A pinion gear engageable by a drive train coupled to a user operated fine tuning shaft is attached to the end of the tuning slug. The pinion gear is provided with a stop tooth for limiting the adjustment range of the slug to approximately one revolution. In one embodiment, the slug is also longitudinally movable with respect to a coil in the coil unit to provide a factory adjustment for centering the tuning range available to the user. Alternatively, the factory adjustment may be provided by making the slug rotatable with respect to the pinion gear.
