Abstract: A reversible unit (20) has a pair of interlock plates (21, 22) detachably connected to operation indication pieces (4a, 4b) of a pair of electromagnetic contactors (1a, 1b) and moving in the same direction as the moving direction of the operation indication pieces, a lock piece (23) connecting with the pair of interlock plates (21, 22), a first normally-closed contact (24), and a second normally-closed contact (25). In a closing operation of one of the electromagnetic contactors (1a), the lock piece (23) moves one of the interlock plates (21) and prohibits the movement of the other interlock plate (22). The first normally-closed contact (24) is connected in series in a power supply circuit to an exciting coil (6b) of the other electromagnetic contactor (1b). One of the interlock plates (21) has a first opening operation engagement portion (34) releasing the first normally-closed contact (24) when the interlock plate (21) moves.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a switching device, in particular an automatic switch, a disconnector or a contactor, with high dependability, for use preferably in low voltage electrical systems. In particular the invention relates to a single-pole or multi-pole double break switching device for low voltage systems comprising, for each pole, at least a first pair of contacts and at least a second pair of contacts. Each pair comprises a stationary contact and a movable contact which can be reciprocally coupled/decoupled at the level of a first breaking cavity and a second breaking cavity respectively. Said cavities are defined inside a casing which comprises a first surface with respect to which an internally hollow portion protrudes, said internally hollow being integrally made with at least one portion of the casing.

This extinction cover has an engaging-force-increased portion (5c1) which strengthens the force of engagement with the case, and an engaging-force-decreased portion (5c2) which weakens the force of engagement with the case. Abstract: A molded case circuit breaker having a trip unit with one or more integrally formed dielectric protrusions that are configured to slidably interconnect with corresponding dielectric members of the base when the trip unit is secured to the base. The dielectric protrusions extend from dielectric walls located between adjacent enclosure chambers that house the current transformers and are configured to remain in contact with the dielectric members of the base as the trip unit is being moved with respect with the base. By remaining in contact to one another while the trip unit is moved with respect to the base, the dielectric protrusions, along with the dielectric members, maintain a strong dielectric barrier within the exterior spaces between the CT enclosure chambers, thereby preventing debris from traveling between and accumulating on the trip unit and the base.
