Selectively, Alternately, Or Consecutively Actuated Patents (Class 335/89)
  • Patent number: 8237523
Abstract: The relay has a movable first contact, a second contact, and an actuating element operatively connected with an armature of the relay. The first contact is movable toward the second contact by the actuating element and dependent on a supply of current to the relay. A snap action spring connects the second contact to a housing of the relay. The second contact is positioned between two arrangements by the snap action spring.

  • Patent number: 6121863
Abstract: A latching relay having a manual reset function. The latching relay includes a coil for generating a magnetic force. An armature is provided which is dragged by the magnetic force to change into a first switching state of the armature. An elastic device which is moved following the movement of the armature caused by the magnetic force, is adapted to receive an external force to switch the armature back into a second switching state, wherein the armature can maintain one of the switching states without the magnetic force and the external force existing. A reset device is provided to receive the external force to move the elastic device, thereby switching the armature into the second switching state. A fixed support fixes in place the coil, armature and elastic device and provides a magnetic loop to strengthen the magnetic force.

  • Patent number: 4549154
Abstract: A switching control device having a plurality of displaceable fingers programmable for controlling a sequence of switching operations in a time-controlled system has a magnetic element for exerting a magnetically retentive force on displaced fingers to hold the displaced fingers in displaced or programmed position, and permitting easy release of a displaced finger upon cancellation of a program so that the finger can return to an unprogrammed neutral position. The fingers may be mounted in a control disc having a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, the control disc functioning as a magnetic yoke, or the fingers themselves may be magnetic.
