  • Patent number: 11216876
Abstract: A system and method for automated securities trading is provided. The system includes a lead trader account database, a follower account database, and a trade determination system. Trade information is received from a lead trader and a listing of followers for the lead trader is retrieved from the lead account database. For each follower, their account at the follower account database is accessed to confirm that they desire to participate in the lead trader's trade and that they have enough funds to do so. The lead trader and follower's traders are then grouped together and traded as a single trade. The traded shares are then provided to the lead trader and followers at the average price of the trade.

  • Patent number: 11138671
Abstract: Proposed is an adaptive, layered, automated risk-transfer system and method thereof, with a self-optimizing, increased leveraged capacity and enhanced drop-down cover structure with a plurality of adjustable risk-transfer layers. If a triggered risk-event is assignable to either of the top risk-transfer layer or the bottom risk-transfer layer of the drop-down cover structure, a shared exhaustion factor is generated based on the assigned risk-transfer layer and based on a cover of the loss associated with the triggered risk event. The shared exhaustion factor is applied mutually to both layers by the system eroding both layers by the same exhaustion factor. The top layer and the bottom layer are reinstatable by a corresponding generated normalized reinstatement parameter values normalized over both layers and based on a thus provided shared limit and the erosion of the top layer and the bottom layer.

  • Patent number: 11068986
Abstract: Orders are automatically sent to the market when certain user defined conditions are met. In particular, a trader can configure the trading application to automatically send orders for preset quantities at price levels with queues falling below a user defined threshold. The length of queues may be measured in several ways, for example, the queue length could be measured by quantity at a given price level or the queue length could be measured by the number of orders at a given price level, or the queue length could be measured by a combination of quantity and orders. The present embodiments can more quickly recognize opportunities and send an order to take advantage of it than a trader can do manually. Other advantages and features are described herein.

  • Patent number: 10586281
Abstract: Within the financial-services industry, there are online centers that allow brokers to match sellers with buyers of financial instruments based on indications of interest. However, at least some of these centers are not only limited in the types of IOIs that they provide, but also in the ways they allow IOI viewers to leverage the collective IOIs of multiple entities for a given stock or financial instrument. Accordingly, the present inventors devised systems, methods, interfaces, and software that enhance the ability of such online centers, or more generally financial-information systems, to facilitate trades. One exemplary financial-information system provides an IOI which is associated with an indicator of an enhanced or heightened willingness of its issuer to actually complete a trade, thereby expediting identification of ready trading partners. Additional features include an enhanced IOI search based on desired price or quantity and a multiparty request-for-quote function.
