Abstract: A set of two or more whistles. Each whistle of the set sounds differently from each other based on a different type of sound or a different value of a characteristic of sound common to whistles of the set. Sound characteristics may include but not limited to pitch, quality, loudness, and/or duration. Each whistle in the set may be different in appearance from each other in the set. Appearance characteristics may include but not limited to color, numbering, design, light up features, size, and/or shape. Alternatively, the whistles in a set may have a common appearance characteristic, but each whistle may have its own value of the common appearance characteristic. Additional element(s) such as lanyards or mouthpieces may be added to whistles of a set to distinguish them from each other. The set of whistles may be included in a kit having a box for removably storing the whistles.
Abstract: A method for outputting a trigger signal for an acoustic warning signal of a rail vehicle, includes reading in a piece of signal information detected by an image sensor of the rail vehicle, comparing the piece of signal information to at least one stored piece of reference signal information to classify the piece of signal information as a warning sign requiring an output of an acoustic warning signal, and providing a trigger signal to an output unit of the rail vehicle for outputting an acoustic warning signal.

Abstract: Herein described is an electro-pneumatic sound alarm, to be fitted on a two or four wheeled vehicle, constituted by an electro-compressor (2), having the function of drawing atmospheric air, compressing it and conveying it to an acoustic group (3). Such sound alarm (1) is characterized in that the electro-compressor (2) and the acoustic group (3) are mutually held by means of removable fit-coupling; furthermore, the coupling elements are rigid and integral with the aforementioned two components (FIG. 1).
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of displaying a system state of an automatic treatment device, a corresponding display system which is configured for carrying out the method, and a treatment device equipped with the display system. At least one system parameter (121, 122, 123) is determined, the at least one determined (120) system parameter (121, 122, 123) is evaluated on the basis of evaluation criteria, the system state is evaluated on the basis of the at least one evaluated (130) system parameter (121, 122, 123), and the evaluated (140) system state is displayed by a traffic light function (175).

Abstract: Apparatus (100, 300, 400) for providing visual and/or audible alert signals. The apparatus (100, 300, 400) comprises one or more lighting means (e.g., 105) for providing visual signals and siren means (e.g., 104) for generating at least one selected siren tone. The apparatus (100, 300, 400) also comprise speaker means (e.g., 103) for producing the audible alert signal based on the selected siren tone and magnetic attaching means (108) for attaching the apparatus (100, 300, 400) to the exterior of a vehicle housing magnetic attraction, wherein at least a portion of the magnetic attaching means (108) is configured to be de-energised in order to detach the apparatus (100, 300, 400) from the exterior of the vehicle.
Abstract: A single LED combined with a dark-colored reflective cavity, a diffusing graphic overlay, and a dark tinted window, provides a backlighted indicator with low power requirements. The design exhibits high visual contrast between on and off conditions, giving daylight visibility. The diffusing overlay and the window are nested and individually attached to a housing with adhesives, thus providing a double barrier against liquid penetration. Thus, the indicator can be used outdoors and under conditions of limited power. For example, the indicator may be part of a customer terminal mounted outdoors at retail establishments, such as gasoline stations.
