With Superimposed Images Patents (Class 342/409)
  • Patent number: 9563944
Abstract: A display system and method for graphically representing a host aircraft comprises a display, a first source host aircraft position data and a second source of data representative of airspace in the vicinity of the host aircraft. A processor is coupled to the display, the first source, and the second source and is configured to (1) determine a position of the host aircraft that expands the visualization of an intended trajectory of the host aircraft, and (2) display the host aircraft at the position on the display.

  • Patent number: 7298922
Abstract: Method and system for generating synthetic panchromatic imagery. A method for making a multi-spectral image includes capturing a panchromatic image of an imaging target. Additionally, the method includes capturing at least a first spectral image of the imaging target in a first spectral bandwidth, and capturing at least a second spectral image of the imaging target in a second spectral bandwidth. Also, the method includes determining at least a first spectral weight and a second spectral weight for the first spectral image and the second spectral image respectively. Additionally, the method includes generating a synthetic panchromatic image, determining a registration offset between the synthetic panchromatic image and the captured panchromatic image, warping the first spectral image and the second spectral image, and generating a multi-spectral image.

  • Patent number: 5392126
Abstract: A mobile printer having features particularly suited for use in a mobile conveyance such as an airplane. The printer stores a first data set in a memory that is accessed under control of a programmable controller. The printer then receives a second data set via a communications transceiver. Data from the first and second data sets are combined to form a composite bit mapped image which is printed by means of a thermal printhead controlled by the programmable controller.
