  • Patent number: 10248672
Abstract: Methods and systems for assessing data involve, collecting samples of data elements from a database storing a population of data elements representing attributes of each numerous different financial transactions. Critical data elements from the collected samples are determined. Data quality rules are built and data dimensions are calculated for the critical data elements. A quality of data within the critical data elements for different data quality dimensions is monitored. Critical data elements that produce a high number of outliers are identified and causes for the outliers are identified. Thereafter, a corrective action plan to address a solution for the causes for the outliers may be developed and executed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the generation of display identification (ID) information in a computer display system. The display ID generator includes a memory which stores display ID information. A control logic device couples the information from the memory to a first FIFO. A state machine accesses the information held in the first FIFO and determines the duration information. Next, the state machine couples the information to a second FIFO. Last, the information in the second FIFO is coupled to a third memory and a sequential counter. After initial loading of information in second memory and sequential counter, the sequential counter determines when second memory and itself will be loaded with the next set of information. Once the sequential counter reaches zero, it generates a signal enabling itself and the second memory to load the next set of information.

  • Patent number: 5526019
Abstract: A character/pattern processing apparatus has conversion means for converting numerals related to characters stored in a memory to magnitude information proportional to values of the numerals and display means for displaying the magnitude information on a display device. Items represented by the characters and graphs which represent the numeric values related to the respective items are displayed without formatting the graphs.

  • Patent number: 5398040
Abstract: An adaptive crosshatch signal generator includes a frequency detector for detecting a horizontal scanning frequency, a square calculator supplied with the detected output of the frequency detector, and a variable pulse width multivibrator controlled to have an output pulse width substantially in inverse proportion to the squared output. Longitudinal lines of a crosshatch signal are formed by the output pulses of the multivibrator. The crosshatch signal has a longitudinal line width which is always substantially equivalent to the distance between adjacent scanning lines and is generated by using a simplified configuration irrespective of input signal format.

  • Patent number: 5357604
Abstract: A fully programmable, graphics microprocessor is embodied in a removable external memory unit for connection with a host information processing system. In an exemplary embodiment, a video game system is described including a host video game system and a pluggable video game cartridge housing the graphics microprocessor. The game cartridge also includes a read-only program memory (ROM) and a random-access memory (RAM). The graphics coprocessor operates in conjunction with a three bus architecture embodied on the game cartridge. The graphics processor using this bus architecture may execute programs from either the program ROM, external RAM or its own internal cache RAM.

  • Patent number: 5303340
Abstract: In a computer graphics display system, a method and processor are disclosed for drawing one of a concave polygon, self-intersecting polygon and polygon with polygonal hole. Pursuant to the method, a mask buffer organized into an M.times.N plurality of addressable constituent pixels is used. The method includes the steps of: masking the pixels of the mask buffer corresponding to the boundary of the polygon and drawing the pixels in the frame buffer of the display system corresponding to the boundary of the polygon; masking the pixels in the mask buffer corresponding to the interior of the polygon while preserving the masked pixels in the mask buffer corresponding to the polygon boundary; and drawing the pixels in the frame buffer corresponding to the interior of the polygon with reference to the masked polygon interior pixels in the mask buffer.

  • Patent number: 5296869
Abstract: A digital engine analyzer has an oscilloscope display and is controlled by microprocessors operating under menu-driven stored program control. The analyzer receives analog input signals from an engine being analyzed and calculates and display spark plug burn time information derived from a single analog input signal, the data being displayed in both numerical and bar graph form. The measured burn time is the time that the ignition voltage signal is above a predetermined threshold level which is greater than the amplitude of the ringing portion of the ignition voltage signal.

  • Patent number: 5266941
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling the storage of display information into a frame buffer is disclosed. A memory means is provided for storing information for controlling the storage of display information into the frame buffer where the memory means contains a plurality of locations each of which corresponds to and controls the storing of display information in one location of the frame buffer. A pass/fail ALU is coupled to the memory means to obtain a value for a particular pixel; this ALU provides a signal indicative of one of a first or second state which state indicates whether storage of display information to the frame buffer will occur. A first function is stored in a register, which function specifies the first signal. A first storage register and a second storage register store a second function and a third function respectively and provide a second value and a third respectively.
