Geometrical features, which have been detected and/or identified within a data analysis processing performed on the basis of workpiece data including a 3D workpiece model, each detected and/or identified geometrical feature being associated with a respective predetermined machining operation, are associated with a respective machine control cycle which is associated with a respective predetermined machining operation with which the respective associated geometry feature is producible.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to processing systems using improved model-based techniques for performing virtual device simulation. A computing platform may receive commands directing the launch of a visual model corresponding to a device identifier. The computing platform may send commands directing a database to provide a state machine model corresponding to the visual model. The computing platform may receive the state machine model and subsequently an indication of a virtual interaction with the visual model. Based on the indication, the computing platform may cause a state change of the visual model and may send, to the client device, state change information corresponding to the visual model. The computing platform may receive information verifying simulated operation parameters, and based on the information the computing platform may cause an implementation update to a device, corresponding to the visual model, based on the simulated operation parameters.

The service qualification platform may obtain a service coverage mapping associated with the multi-unit building and may provide, to the user device and via a user interface that is associated with a geographic information system, a unit location request for an indication of a location of the unit within the multi-unit building. The service qualification platform may receive unit location information that is associated with the indication and may determine a service qualification metric based on the service coverage mapping and the unit location information, wherein the service qualification metric is associated with a capability of receiving the service within the unit. A set of electrodes is configured to detect a voltage differences between various pairs of locations on a body of a patient. A display is configured to visually represent digital signals derived from the plurality of detected voltage differences. A display interface is configured to format the digital signals for the display, such that the leads are grouped and displayed as a sequence of proper subsets or groups of the plurality of detected voltage differences. Each proper subset or lead group represents a specific anatomical structure of a heart of the patient.

In various embodiments, a media player might receive one or more notifications associated with media content. The media player might further receive user interaction with the one or more notifications. The user interaction might cause the media content to be displayed on a second display device, the media content to be displayed after a program being currently viewed by a user has ended, a preview of the media content to be displayed, a live stream of the media content to be displayed in the notification, the media content to be placed in a queue, the media content to be recorded, or a recording of the media content to be deleted.

Abstract: A wireless device (WD) is associated with a preprogrammed user roaming setting and an automated adjustment algorithm stored in operative communication with the device. The algorithm is initiated and run when the device enters a roaming area, thereby automatically activating the roaming setting. A user response query is operatively connected to the automated adjustment algorithm, and operates as a switch for the automated adjustment algorithm, which initiates changing the user settings in accordance with the roaming setting. A user available query is connected to the user response query, to determine if the wireless device is in use, and to generate a notification if the device is idle or a prompt if the device is in use. An output from the switch of the user response query selectively enables the automated adjustment algorithm responsive to at least one of a responsive and a nonresponsive input to the user response query.

The GUI includes a contiguous two-dimensional sliding region for defining several values. The GUI also includes several sliders for moving within the sliding region. The selected values are parameters for controlling one or more operations of the application.

An explicit select gesture performed by the user toward one of the interactive items is detected in the maps, and the one of the interactive items is selected responsively to the explicit select gesture. Subsequent to selecting the one of the interactive items, a TimeClick functionality is actuated for subsequent interactive item selections to be made by the user.

An application text entry field is presented in a display screen, into which the user enters text by means of a reduced keyboard and a disambiguating system. The default or most likely word construct for the current key sequence may be presented at the insertion point of the text entry field. An indication of ambiguity is presented in the display screen to communicate to the user the possible ambiguous characters associated with each key. A word choice list field may also be present to display at least one word construct matching the current key sequence.

Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for generating quotations from a reference document on a touch sensitive display device or other handheld device, including the following steps: (a) receiving a first input from a user designating a first point in a captured image of the reference document to define a first corner of a crop rectangle; (b) receiving a second input from the user designating a second point in the captured image to define a second corner of the crop rectangle, wherein the first input is released before the second input is initiated; (c) cropping the captured image from the first point to the second point of the crop rectangle when the second input is released to generate an image quotation; and (f) generating a quotation data object comprising the image quotation and a bibliographical reference to a referenced section of the reference document which contains the image quotation. After the image quotation has been cropped, it may be annotated using a similar two-touch method.

Abstract: A method for developing a wiring design for a complex system includes creating a master wire harness network (MWHN) within pathway space reservations of a pathway space-reservation network of the complex system. In this regard, the MWHN can comprise a model of possible wiring pathways between equipment of the complex system, and can include wire harness elements interconnecting termination device elements. The method can also include importing a subsystems definition capable of being represented by interconnections between the equipment. Thus, one or more logical net harnesses (LNHs) can be created based upon the MWHN and the subsystems definition. The LNH, then, can comprise a collection of interconnections routed within the MWHN. One or more logical wire harnesses (LWHs) can be created based upon the LNHs, after which one or more end-item configurations (EICs) can be created based upon the LWHs.

Abstract: A method and system for manipulating characters displayed on a display screen is provided wherein the method includes identifying a selected word, wherein the selected word includes at least one character to be modified. Abstract: A method and system to rotate a 2N by 2N array are described. Consistent with one embodiment of the present invention, the 2N elements of the 2N rows of a 2N by 2N array are loaded from memory into the vector registers of a processor's single instruction multiple data (SIMD) unit. Next, the elements of the rows in the top half of the array are interleaved with corresponding elements from a corresponding row in the bottom half of the array. The loading and interleaving operations are repeated N times before the results, stored in the vector registers, are written back to memory.

Abstract: A method of inputting an electronic address into an address field on a communications device, the electronic address including a plurality of text characters and non-text symbol characters.
