    Abstract: A metering belt feeder for gravimetrically measuring a flow of material with the aid of an endless belt which includes a loading zone (10), a weighing zone (10) and a belt drive which is located between these two zones. The belt is caused to move in a plane above both the loading zone and the weighing zone. The belt drive means is constructed so as to draw the belt from the loading zone in the absence of belt-slipping and to project the belt over the weighing zone, and also so as to guide the belt against sideways movement.
