  • Patent number: 9205668
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a decoloring unit for performing decoloring processing on a sheet. An image forming unit forms an image on a sheet using decolorable material. A reuse tray receives a sheet provided by a user. A processor determines whether a sheet is provided on the reuse tray. When it is determined that a sheet is provided on the reuse tray, the decoloring unit performs the decoloring processing on the sheet. The processor determines whether the sheet meets a predetermined usability condition. When it is determined that the sheet meets the predetermined condition, the image forming unit forms an image on the sheet. When the image forming unit forms an image on the sheet that is determined to meet the predetermined condition, the processor updates a rewards account of the user.
