Abstract: A display apparatus includes an input/output interface connected to an external device and an input device, a memory, a first processor connected to the memory, and a second processor configured to be recognized as a universal serial bus (USB) device by the external device. The first processor generates a first image related to a function of the display apparatus, and a second image based on image data obtained from the external device, and controls the display to display the first image and the second image together. The first processor obtains an input signal from the input device, and based on a cursor corresponding to the input signal being located on the second image, provides the input signal to the second processor, and the second processor provides the input signal to the external device.

Abstract: An electronic device may have a display mounted in a housing. The display may have layers such as polarizer layers, a color filter layer, and a thin-film transistor layer. Display layers such as color filter layers and thin-film-transistor layers may have glass substrates. Notches or other openings may be formed in the layers of a display. For example, a notch with a curved chamfered edge may be formed in a lower end of a thin-film-transistor layer. A component such as a button may overlap the notch. Structures such as sensors, cameras, acoustic components, and other electronic components, buttons, communications path structures such as flexible printed circuit cables and wire bonding wires, and housing structures may be received within a display layer notch.

Abstract: A load control system may include control devices capable of being associated with each other at one or more locations for performing load control. Control devices may include control-source devices and/or control-target devices. A location beacon may be discovered and a unique identifier in the location beacon may be associated with a unique identifier of one or more control devices. Upon subsequent discovery of the location beacon, the associated load control devices may be controlled. The beacons may be communicated via radio frequency signals, visible light communication, and/or audio signals. The visible light communication may be used to communicate other types of information to devices in the load control system. The visible light communication may be used to identify link addresses for communicating with load control devices, load control instructions, load control configuration instructions, network communication information, and/or the like.

Abstract: The subject technology provides a messaging application in which an image can be captured and supplemented with supplemental content such as stickers, animations, etc., from within an active messaging thread. In this manner, a user participating in a messaging conversation with a remote user can add stickers, animations, and/or adaptive content to an image captured by the user, without having to locally cache/store the captured image before editing and without having to leave the messaging conversion (or the messaging application) to access an image editing application.

The system can include a target device and a measurement device. The measurement device can couple to the target device via a plurality of connection terminals to perform a test of the target device. The measurement device can receive an input identifying a test to be performed on the target device by the measurement device. The measurement device can determine, based on the received input, an indication identifying at least one connection terminal of the plurality of connection terminals to connect to the target device to perform the test. The measurement device can provide the indication of the at least one connection terminal via an indication mechanism associated with the at least one connection terminal.

The computing device may record a first media stream that includes at least a portion of the image of the background environment and at least one movement of at least one object through the background environment. The computing device may remove the image of the background environment from the first media stream to create a second media stream that includes the movement of the object without the image of the background environment. The computing device may determine a bandwidth of a network over which the second media stream will be transmitted and perform further alterations to the second media stream if the current bandwidth is less than a bandwidth threshold level in order to reduce the bandwidth needed to transmit the second media stream.

A dynamic configuration system runs on the multiple processors and includes a device manager, configuration manager, and data manager. The device manager automatically detects and adds new devices to the multiprocessor system, and the configuration manager automatically reconfigures which processors run the real-time applications. The data manager identifies the type of data generated by the new devices and identifies which devices in the multiprocessor system are able to process the data. A communication system for a mobile vehicle, home, or office environment includes multiple processors. The multiple processors each run an Open Communication system that controls how data is transferred between processors based on data content as opposed to the links that connect the processors together.

A voice recognition method of an electronic device includes receiving trigger voice, storing a characteristic of the trigger voice for voice verification by analyzing the trigger voice. When a user issues a voice command, determining whether the user voice command comprises the characteristic belonging to the trigger voice, and performing function of the electronic device corresponding to the user voice command based on the determination. Accordingly, users may easily use the voice recognition function of the electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention is a pole-mountable shroud assembly enclosing one or more wireless telecommunications transceivers and antennas. The shroud assembly is attached to the pole by a pole bracket, which is an elongated rectangular prism frame. The outer face of the pole bracket is open, so as to expose at least one intake fan supported by the pole bracket. The top and bottom ends of the pole bracket support top and bottom panels, respectively, with the bottom panel having multiple holes and/or vents, through which the intake fan(s) draw ambient air to cool the transceivers. A jacking means, such as a screw jack, connects the bottom panel to the pole bracket bottom end so that the panel separation distance is adjustable. The computing device applies a second compression algorithm to the secondary portion of the first media item to generate a compressed secondary portion, where a data compression ratio of the second compression algorithm is greater than a data compression ratio of the first compression algorithm. The computing device transmits, to a central computing device, the compressed primary portion of the first media item and the compressed secondary portion of the first media item.

An embodiment operates by receiving, at a speaker device, first audio from a media player, wherein a television is outputting video from the media player. The speaker device detects a change of a state of the media player. Responsive to the automatic updating, the second audio from the television is automatically output by the speaker device, wherein the television is outputting video corresponding to the second audio.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for implementing a high-quality Video over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network accessible through a public network, such as the Internet. More particularly, a user of a telecommunication network may access the VoIP through an Internet connection or other public network connection and is then connected to a virtual local loop for transmission across the VoIP. As such, the public network may act as an egress and/or ingress to the VoIP allowing users with public network connectivity access to the network. Thus, a virtual local loop providing the desired services and quality from the telecommunications network may be created for a user of the network, without the need of the user to directly connect into the VoIP.
