  • Patent number: 11022629
Abstract: Techniques are provided for changing a range of an output circuit with little or no voltage or current glitch. In an example, a method of changing a range of an output signal can include providing a first level of the output signal at an output of a first amplifier based on a received setpoint signal and receiving a range change command. In response to the range change command an input of a second amplifier can be shorted to an output of the second amplifier for a first interval. At the end of the first interval and over a second interval, a first impedance between the input of the second amplifier and the output of the second amplifier can be increased, and a second impedance between the input of the second amplifier and the setpoint signal can be increased.

  • Patent number: 10943177
Abstract: Example embodiments provide a system and method for providing optimized channel change using probabilistic modeling. A digital receiver detects an occurrence of a channel event. In response to the detected occurrence, the digital receiver accesses a probabilistic causal model from a data storage device, and dynamically learns in real time one or more probabilities based on the detected channel event and the probabilistic causal model. The digital receiver updates the probabilistic causal model at the data storage device with the learned one or more probabilities. A next channel is determined by the digital receiver based on the updated probabilistic causal model.

  • Patent number: 10763912
Abstract: A demodulation apparatus according to the present disclosure includes an analog audio demodulator, a digital audio demodulator, a selection circuit, and a noise addition circuit. The analog audio demodulator demodulates a received signal of an analog radio broadcast wave into an analog audio signal and outputs the analog audio signal. The digital audio demodulator demodulates a received signal of a digital radio broadcast wave into a digital audio signal and outputs the digital audio signal, the analog/digital radio broadcast waves including audio signals indicative of a same content and being broadcasted simultaneously. The selection circuit selects either the analog audio signal or the digital audio signal. The noise addition circuit adds noise to the digital audio signal in a first period including a switching period for switching from a state where the analog audio signal is selected to a state where the digital audio signal is selected.
