Generation Of Synchronizing Signals (epo) Patents (Class 348/E5.011)
  • Patent number: 11528389
Abstract: A method and system for synchronizing an audio signal and a video signal includes a source device receiving an audio-video signal comprising the audio signal and the video signal. The video signal has a video time stamp. The source device communicates the audio signal from the source device to a first sink device through a wireless network with a second time stamp and communicates the video signal to the second sink device with the video time stamp. The second sink device generates a synchronization (synch) signal and communicates the synch signal to the first sink device. The first sink device compares the synch signal to the second time stamp, adjusts a relative timing of the playback of the audio signal in response to comparing and generates an audible signal from the audio signal.

  • Patent number: 9875222
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention enable the extraction, classification, storage, and supplementation of presentation video. A media system receives a video signal carrying presentation video. The media system processes the video signal and generates images for slides of the presentation. The media system then extracts text from the images and uses the text and other characteristics to classify the images and store them in a database. Additionally, the system enables viewers of the presentation to provide feedback on the presentation, which can be used to supplement the presentation.

  • Patent number: 9838229
Abstract: A method, data processing system, and computer program product for verifying the functionality of a digital circuit. The method includes transmitting sequences of parallel data packets via parallel data transfer paths. Prior to receipt of at least two of the transmitted sequences, a first skew is introduced between the at least two of the transmitted sequences. This introduction includes inserting one or more parallel control data packets in the transmitted sequences, and erasing one of the control data packets, replacing one of the control data packets, and inserting another control data packet in one of the sequences. The method includes determining if an expected indicator signal is provided in the form of an overflow indicator or an underflow indicator.
