Patent number: 12124656Abstract: A tiled interactive screen comprises a mounting surface and tiles mounted on the mounting surface. Each tile comprises a tile substrate with photoluminescent marks disposed in a pattern on or in the tile substrate. Each photoluminescent mark is unique with respect to every other photoluminescent mark on any of the tiles, each photoluminescent mark comprises a pattern encoding information specifying the location of the photoluminescent mark on the tile, and each tile substrate is at least partially transparent to light absorbed by the photoluminescent marks and is at least partially transparent to light emitted by the photoluminescent marks. The photoluminescent marks respond to stimulating electromagnetic radiation by emitting electromagnetic radiation.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2020Date of Patent: October 22, 2024Assignee: Nanoga SAInventors: Nasser Hefiana, David Slobodin

Patent number: 11799193Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with wireless circuitry. The wireless circuitry may include one or more antennas. The antennas may include millimeter wave antenna arrays. Non-millimeter-wave antennas such as cellular telephone antennas may have conductive structures separated by a dielectric gap. In a device with a metal housing, a plastic-filled slot may form the dielectric gap. The conductive structures may be slot antenna structures, inverted-F antenna structures such as an inverted-F antenna resonating element and a ground, or other antenna structures. The plastic-filled slot may serve as a millimeter wave antenna window. A millimeter wave antenna array may be mounted in alignment with the millimeter wave antenna window to transmit and receive signals through the window. Millimeter wave antenna windows may also be formed from air-filled openings in a metal housing such as audio port openings.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2020Date of Patent: October 24, 2023Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Yuehui Ouyang, Yi Jiang, Matthew A. Patent number: 11514864Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels connected to data lines and sensing lines, a data driver including a plurality of buffer amplifiers which supplies a first sensing voltage to the data lines during a first sensing period and a sensor which receives a first sensing signal from the pixels through the sensing lines during the first sensing period, and a global amplifier which supplies a second sensing voltage to the data lines during a second sensing period different from the first sensing period. The sensor receives a second sensing signal corresponding to the second sensing voltage from the pixels through the sensing lines during the second sensing period, and generates compensation data based on a difference value between the first sensing signal and the second sensing signal.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2021Date of Patent: November 29, 2022Assignee: SAMSUNG DISPLAY CO., LTD.Inventors: Won Tae Kim, Myeong Su Kim, Bo Yeon Kim, Jae Han Lee, Whee Won Lee

Patent number: 9503611Abstract: An aspect of the invention provides an image forming apparatus storing first, second, and third dither pattern groups. The first group contains a plurality of line screens, each associated with one of gray levels in a first range, varying such that as the gray level increases, the line width increases. The second group contains a plurality of void-dot screens, each associated with one of gray levels higher than those in the first range, varying such that as the gray level increases, dots increase to reduce void portions surrounded by the dots. The third group contains, for switching from the line screen to the void-dot screen, a plurality of dither patterns varying such that as the gray level increases from a reference gray level, adjacent lines are connected at joint portions tapered toward tip ends in a manner that a position that gradually advances from the tip ends to basal ends.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2015Date of Patent: November 22, 2016Assignee: RICOH COMPANY, LTD.Inventors: Hiroyuki Igawa, Hideki Kamaji

Patent number: 8644601Abstract: One or more implementations access a digital image containing one or more bands. Adjacent bands of the one or more bands have a difference in color resulting in a contour between the adjacent bands. The one or more implementations apply an algorithm to at least a portion of the digital image for reducing visibility of a contour. The algorithm is based on a value representing the fraction of pixels in a region of the digital image having a particular color value.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2008Date of Patent: February 4, 2014Assignee: Thomson LicensingInventors: Bhagavathy Sitaram, Llach Joan, Zhai Jie Fu
