Abstract: Herein described are at least a system, computer readable storage media, and method for resuming consumption of content which was interrupted by a high priority message. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving the message while tuned to a first communications channel for receiving content, and transmitting a first signal responsive to detecting the start of the message. The first signal may pause delivery of the content, and may determine a location in the content corresponding to the start of the message. The method may further transmit a second signal responsive to detecting an end of the message, and trigger a resumption of delivery of the content starting at the indexed location.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a signal processing device and an image display apparatus including the same. A signal processing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a synchronizer configured to decode bootstrap data of first frame data in the received baseband signal; and an error corrector including a decoder configured to decode basic signaling data of the first frame data, and processing payload data of the first frame data is started within a first frame data period or a reception period of the first frame data. Accordingly, a data output time according to processing of frame data can be shortened.

The content is dynamically adjusted to selectively filter a portion of the content based on a user profile of the user, rating score of the content, and ongoing interactions detected at the content. Abstract: Systems and methods to transmit audio-video signals over an optical communication channel are described. One aspect includes receiving a plurality of audio-video electrical signals at an optical transmitter. The optical transmitter may also receive a plurality of out-of-band electrical signals. The optical transmitter may collectively modulate the audio-video electrical signals to generate a composite electrical signal. In one aspect, the optical transmitter bias current-modulates a bias current level of the composite electrical signal using the electrical out-of-band signals, and generates a modulated electrical signal based on the bias current-modulating. The optical transmitter may convert the modulated electrical signal into a modulated optical signal using a laser diode, and transmit the modulated optical signal to an optical receiver over an optical communication channel.

The media control device may receive a first signal including a first audio component from a first device and a second signal including a second audio component from a second device. The media device may identify at least a first timestamp of the first signal and at least a first timestamp of the second signal. The media device may assign a common timestamp to the first signal and the second signal and modify the first signal and/or the second signal based, at least in part, on the common timestamp. The protection extension may be priced, for example, based on the user's power and/or strength in a game, and/or based on other factors. For example, the stronger the user is in the game, the more expensive the extension of protection, and the weaker the user is in the game, the cheaper the extension of protection. This may provide an opportunity for a less experienced player to build up their strength in a game, thus promoting further player engagement. Individualizing the price of protection extensions may provide other enhancements.

The user's location may be determined by determining the location of a device, such as the user's mobile device. Several different wireless communication protocols and/or wireless networks (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, and/or GPS) may be used in a hierarchical manner to determine the user's location. When the user's location is determined, one or more actions may be performed based on the user's location and/or profile.
