The top substrate comprises a support plate having an outer surface, a patterned light shielding layer disposed on the outer surface of the support plate and located within the first region, and a patterned anti-reflective layer disposed on the outer surface of the support plate and being blank at the first region. The patterned light shielding layer of the display panel may be formed on the outer surface of the support plate via a wet process and may be patterned with sharp edges and good linearity to provide the desirable light shielding effect.

Based on this spectral shifting, the intensity of the transmission spectrum is corrected. An image corresponding to the corrected intensity of the transmission spectrum may be generated.

The liquid crystal layer has a first refractive index and a second refractive index when the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer are powered on and off, respectively. The first refractive index is greater than the second refractive index, and the first refractive index is the same as the refractive index of the diffractive lenses. By means of this solution, free and controllable switching between light field imaging and conventional photographic imaging can be realized in the same system.
